No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
OK, so I'm just slightly perturbed and am trying to see the positive as I face a very cold shower in an already cool climate. The plus is that I do have water and enough of it for a shower. There. That's a big enough plus if you ask me.
I'm not sure what happened but the gas guys did not come as scheduled today. I came home utterly exhausted from work. I'm not surprised since I didn't get to sleep until after midnight last night. I zonked out unexpectedly for almost 2 hours and am now wide awake.
Had a big salad for dinner with boiled shrimp but really felt like I needed more. Husband brought some hot roasted chicken back after his workout (and got a hot shower!) and I devoured a big piece - skin and all - and don't care. I need something more than the salad. I needed something hot. Oh, and it was really salty and delicious.
Tomorrow is the first day of school and I feel so unprepared. We have had back to back meetings for these five days without students and were given very little teacher work time. Oh well. I'll get done what I can and the rest will happen eventually.
Off to face an incredibly cold shower. Wish me luck!
