No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

Well I got up bright and early, laced up my sneakers & headed to my basement to hit the treadmill!  I have an old MP3 player that has all of the C25K stuff downloaded from a long time ago.  I'd like to get it on my phone but I didn't have time to figure it out so MP3 it is.   Charged it up last night, got through the first 2 minutes of walking & the battery died.  I think it had somehow been running all night.  But did I give up & say never mind I'll do it another time?  NOPE!  I actually just walked & ran watching the clock.  I couldn't remember the times so I ran for 30 seconds every 3 minutes.  I just checked & I was wrong, but the point is I did something I didn't give up and I got sweaty!  So now the MP3 is charging again!  Feels good that it is done & out of the way first thing in the morning, even though it wasn't easy to get up!  Olivia crawled into bed with me early this morning & we were all cozy snuggling!  It is only 16 degrees out!!!

Way to go! I would have been so tempted to just say "Oh well, I guess I can't do it now!" Reminds me of the quote from the other day about how if we want to do something we will find a way, but if we don't want to we will find an excuse. I so wish I had a treadmill at home--at least you didn't have to leave the house in those 16 degree temps!

Good job staying right on and finishing your workout. I don't ever listen to music when I work out (other than what the gym is playing) but I'm sure it's a big motivator!

Can you tell me a little more about C25K & the mp3s?  Does it tell you when to walk and when to run?
