Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

There is nothing like bumping into the ex after losing 50 pounds since he has seen you, hair done, dressed super cute, and realizing that he has gained weight since the last time you have seen him.  That just about sums up my night last night.  Anyone?  Anyone?

I actually had a Pampered Chef party to attend with my bestie so she took the night off from her boyfriend and I left the fiance at home with the kiddos and we headed out.  The party went super quick so we decided to stop for an appetizer and drinks before heading home to our men.  That's when we ended up bumping into the ex.  He was standing up diagonally across from us but I couldn't really see him.  He basically finished his beer, paid the tab, and walked the long way around the bar to say "Hey, how you doin" as he walked by looking me up and down from head to toe.  It was actually kind of funny now that I think about it.  I don't even remember if I answered but it didn't matter because he never stopped.

Not going to lie.

It felt good.

Real good.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!! Just what we would all hope for.

The opposite usually happens to me--the second leave the house (even once in ten years)looking like garbage that day, I end up seeing someone I hadn't seen since high school--or in like 10 years etc....and then I worry that they think I look like that ALL the time.

Though-usually, if I spot the person first, knowing how horrible I look, I duck out before they can see me. :P

It must have felt wonderful! Nothing like making them wonder "what if"

I don't know if I'm more excited that you bumped into your ex (which I'm sure felt great!) or more intrigued by the Pampered Chef party. lol
