So not bad for going through Christmas and New Years but now it's time to reboot and get serious with the diet. I've been at this for 2 years and I've been treading water since the summer. I've got to make this happen this year. My body has had more than enough time to get comfortable in the low 180's. I'm excited to try and get it down to my goal weight of 145. That's only 38 lbs!! This is doable. I mean REALLY!!!! Last night I ran 2.7 miles on the treadmill in just under 31 min. My goal this year is to run a 10k. I did several 5ks last year so what's 3 more miles?
In 2011 I set a goal for myself to bike, run, walk or elliptical a total of 2011k which is 1250 miles. My final count for the year was only 449. I'm not going to beat myself up over it as 1250 was quite aggressive even with adding in biking. So this year I'm going to be a little more reasonable and set a goal of 900 which is double from last year. I can do it, I know it. The count for this year so far is 8.5 miles. Only 891.5 to go!!!
