No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

Ok I have been really strict with calories and working my butt off and after 3 weeks have only dropped 4 lbs. well I think I figured out my problem. I have had my nike fuelband and finally got it synced up with my Lose it app and just doing my daily activities I am burning 355-664 calories a day not counting the the calories I am burning working out and I am trying to survive on 1300 calories a day. Well if I am burning that many calories a day and eating 1300 My body thinks I'm starving so it won't let the weight go. However that being said no loss on the scale but loss of inches in my thighs and waist and my butt is lifting I Am more than happy with that. But I have to say anyone that is having weight issues and you are doing everything right and there is no other medical reason your not dropping the weight consider the nike fuel band because it really helps you open your eyes. I have walked 19,537 as of yesterday and I have burnt 6466 calories and i started tracking it Monday so that really impressed me.

Very interesting. I feel like I am in the same boat. I am staying within my WW points and working out 5 days a week--but only dropped 3 pounds in January. I've been wondering if I need to eat more to lose more.

It is intresting. Like today I worked out so I burnt 338 calories there and then jus t doing my normal daily activities I burnt another 392. My dr. Told me that she couldn't find any reasonable reason why I'm not dropping weight and suggested that I wasn't eating enough or eating more than I thought, so I started out using a scale and measuring cups to be accurate I lost 4 pds but then I just stopped losing it was like my body refused to drop more. So I bought the bracelet have had it almost a week and am shocked at how many calories I actually burn that I didn't know about so now I am making sure to eat back my calories for the next week and see if I lose. I mean I've tried everything else so this can't hurt.

Keep us posted on what you find. It is scary to purposefully eat more when you are trying to lose.

Only 4 pounds? I think that is fantastic. Couple that with thinner thighs? I would be in heaven.

Yeah-so you weren't eating your exercise calories and sort of going into "starvation mode".  The good news is getting to eat more!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!
