No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
My whole family got out for another great and tiring day. My husband and I went for a 30 minute bike ride--I conquered a hill I hadn't been able to before. Then we met back up with the kids and went canoeing--with 4 out of the five of us in the canoe, my husband and I paddling. We paddled hard for a good 1/2 hour. It's a lot more challenging with the weight of 4 in there!
Back on shore and we had a really healthy picnic together before we had to head to town to do a bit of shopping. I'm so muscle-tired, but it's a good feeling.
Now I'm smelling our dinner I have in the oven--my squash "lasagna" --layered squash, zucchini, onions, sauce, low fat ham--and this time I added a layer of fat free cottage cheese & egg--no pasta. I love doing this recipe while we have the fresh veggies from the garden. I can have a BIG portion and it only comes out to about 225 calories and 5 grams of fat. It's super easy, too, Only downfall is I have to have the oven on for about 40 minutes when it's a hot August day
