So I bought some Almond Milk to try. Tasted great.
I am not allergic to almonds, in fact I put some in my asparagus side dish last night. So why when I drank it did my tongue start to tingle? And hours later now the tongue still feels weird, as if i ate too hot pizza. My mom said I was crazy. Turns out my friend had the same thing happen.
Anyone else? Am I crazy?
Comment by Erica on July 30, 2012 at 7:23pm I wonder if you have oral allergy syndrome??? Google it! My husband has it & can't eat a variety of fruits & nuts. He can't eat almonds, but tasted the almond milk & he didn't have a reaction. Do you react to regular almonds?
Comment by Meg H on July 30, 2012 at 8:02pm no i eat almonds all the time. i had almonds with my asparagus last night. i like thoe little snack packs. so it was bizarre.
Did you get the 35 or 40 calorie one or the one that's over 100 calories?
Comment by Erica on July 31, 2012 at 4:12pm Oral allergy syndrome was the first thing that came to mind. You've got me stumped!
