Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

I had a really good Monday. Eating was kept in line. It isn't easy friends. Tonight I pulled out the old Power 90 Sculpt DVD. It was nice not killing myself working out. It is a good overall resistance DVD and I forgot how much I did like it. It was the first workout I ever bought where I really got the results. So my routine this week is every other day I am going to do an Insanity DVD & on the other days do Power 90 Sculpt. I do give myself an off day on Saturday. My body needs a break. Tonight I made a Spicy Tofu, Bell Peppers, Mushroom Stirfry. It was really good and I will have it for tomorrows lunch. Jill has inspired me to find other activities. She chose painting. I am not sure what I would like to try. What are your artistic outlets?

I love writing (I am part of a writing group and try to write something at least once a month).  I also like painting :)  I play the clarinet (but haven't done so in a while), and I enjoy writing cards to people.  I love sending a card to someone "just because" to let them know I'm thinking about them.  In the spring, I hope to start a garden (both veggie and flower) and that should be an outlet as well.  Thinking about this, though, I haven't had a chance to do any of these things lately.  Does this give you any ideas I hope?

I'm so glad you had an awesome Monday! You are going into this week strong and in control after your loss!  It must be a bit of a relief to be done with insane Insanity! lol

I think creative outlets are wonderful. When it comes to activities, interests, creative outlets, etc.  - I have a lot but have not done much with any of them in the past few years. One of my all time favorites is stamping. I guess it's also just known as making your own cards. I have all the stamps, inks, cardstock, etc and I used to stamp like crazy. I would even do my own invites to parties. It's fun and creative and not expensive. I took up keyboarding lessons for a few years and then after years of trying to play an instrument I realized I'm just not cut out for it. I'll play the drums every once in a while. I also love puzzles, beadwork and anything needlework-ish. My problem is that I don't stick with anything long enough. Maybe it's cuz I'm expecting progress too quickly. I would love to know what you decide on!

Your meal sounds yummy! I am so impressed how when it comes to your workout routine, you do not let moss grow under your feet. I've been "hearing" you plan for your post-Insantity workouts for weeks, and as soon as Insanity ends- there you go! And good for you!
