No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

I was so proud of myself last night. We went to a party and I did not drink any alcohol AT ALL. Unbelievable, I know. We were smart and ate before we got there and I stayed pretty full throughout the night. I did some mindless munching on chips and a couple of other things but stuck to water. I was also happy that it was a crowd where nobody gave a shit who was drinking what.

The day seems to have flown by and I hardly did anything! I went to my 2nd pole fitness class this morning and I really liked the instructor today. The class was a lot more structured as in we were all doing the same moves at the same time. Good grief, it was so HARD! Almost any pole moves we do, even the most basic ones we are starting with, requires you do pull your own weight up off the ground. The exercises seem to work every single muscle in my body. I'm only guessing because I have been sore ALL over since Tuesday. My legs are pretty muscular so I feel good about that and it's not any big deal to do almost the entire class on my tip toes, which is what is required most of the time. Not that we're competitive or anything, but I do feel a little more 'equal' with the others when I see the other lighter feathers constantly going from flat foot to tip toes and back and forth.

After the class, I walked home and got a coffee along the way. I was tempted to stop and eat somewhere but restrained myself. I made a huge salad when I got home but have been snacking a bit too much after that. It has at least been healthy stuff like hummus and LC light but the calories still add up.

I spent most of the afternoon catching up on work and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! Ha! Not even close.....

I'm off to try and enjoy what's left of the day/evening!

Wow, that sounds like a great workout! My husband would love if I took a class like that! Good for you on the healthy eating choices, enjoy your evening.

Pole fitness sounds like a great all over workout. I bet it is cardio and resistance. Let us know what your take is when you have finished your last class. Still getting out on the bikes?

I've always thought that those classes must be so tough!  The strength & coordination, WOW!  Good for you for trying it!  I just made a batch of hummus for the week!  Topped some salad with hummus to take to work tomorrow.
