No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
I woke up this morning to some near-freezing temperatures. What happened to fall? I bundled up and hit the trail this morning. I went on a new route, one at the park that had a lot of hills. I knew from Thursday that I need to do some hill work before my 5k in two weeks. It has a few big hills and I want to be prepared for them. And...I DID IT!! In 43 minutes, I covered 3.5 miles. WHEW!
Then, this afternoon, I headed to the mall. I needed new bras. I hate bra shopping and I have never owned a single bra from Victoria's Secret, but I took a deep breath and forced myself to go in and find someone to help me. The ladies who work there are SOO nice. At first they tried to tell me I was still the same size, but after trying one on, I am definitely down a cup size. Just as I thought! I tried on at least ten bras before finding a couple of styles I liked. $200 later, I now have four bras (and a skimpy pair of panties I got for free). But I sucked up my fear of going to a "normal size" store and finding what I needed.
Here's the meal plan today:
B: Yoplait light yogurt before my run
L: 2 breadsticks, one bowl of Zuppa Toscana, and 3/4 of a bowl of linguine with Chianti three meat sauce--and iced tea. (Olive Garden lunch with friends)
D: breakfast sandwich (2 slices 35 cal-bread toasted, 1 scrambled egg, 3 slices center cut bacon, 1 slice Havarti cheese)
Dessert: mini pumpkin pie croissants (soooo good--I'm going to have to make some pumpkin pie oatmeal for breakfast in the morning!)
