No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
Yesterday was crazy. We were supposed to go on a short walk and have a picnic with some friends. To make a LONG story short we ended up walking from 10:45 until 5 pm. We did have a few short breaks- as we had kids with us- getting lost in England is prettier than getting lost in North Carolina, but still stinks! :)
I had a smoothie for breakfast. For lunch I had a flatbread veggie wrap and fruit. When we got home things went downhill. I was tired and starving. I had cereal for dinner (too much of course) and lots of M&M's. I nibbled on things for the rest of the evening. sigh....
Today I am going to a Legs, Bums and Tums class. I plan to write my foods down again. Keem mentioned My Fitness Pal- I am going to check it out and consider using it as my tool for food journaling.
It feels good to be back here! I feel so less alone!

I started to journal my food again as well. it's somuch easier when you write down what you're eating but it's also so easy to not journal your food .... a new day- a new challenge! YOU CAN DO IT!!!

Sorry about getting so lost but it sounds like great exercise! 15 miles is a LOT! I really want/need to get on this weight loss journey......sososososo badly......But I do have confidence it will happen just as you will get back on track. You've only been gone for a few months. Still need to cut yourself slack. Enjoy yourself. Continue to settle in and make new friends. I know you are strong and determined! :)

It would be cool if you, me, Keem, and Nubia (and anyone else from BTL who may be on it) start checking in on each other there. I really NEED to log my calories, I know that the only reason I'm avoiding it is because I don't WANT to be accountable for how I'm eating. Cuz the details ain't pretty. Which, is the whole reason it works so well to log- it's a behavior modification tool!
OMG that is some walk you did! No wonder you had unbelievable hunger! Maybe I need to check out My Fitness Pal.
Comment by Nubia on July 25, 2012 at 12:32am Seriously, that's a race walk right there. You probably burned more calories than you ate, you were hungry because your body was hungry. MyFitnessPal is awesome. You can download it to your phone, ipad, and all the crazy stuff I carry around. It's super easy to use.
