Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

Both kids were put down at 9:30 p.m. with no crying!  Well, my daughter was whining a little but she want went back into bed and is now, like her brother, passed out.  I don't think it'll happen e/night but today was just a good day.  The kids got up (one at a time) during the early morning hours and I got them in bed with me.  My husband slept on the couch to help out and when they got up at 8 a.m., with Spongebob magically on tv, I took them to the living room with two diapers and told my husband it was his turn.

I went back to sleep until 11:47 and quietly left the building.  I got a hair cut (just reshaping the hair mess until it grows out into a bob) and got groceries.  I got back around 1 p.m. feeling much like my old self.  I even did a 1 hour yin yoga class to stretch out the muscles a few minutes ago... there are serious knots on my outer quads, I can feel them bump on my hand and roller as I'm massaging them.  I've been foam rolling three times a day, but quickly since the kids like to jump on me.

Eating went better today.  I figured I would get fruits and veggies so if I got hungry, I had nothing else to eat.  Well, besides all the nuts, dried fruit, cereals and oats.  I can't wait to do my hair tomorrow, I'm putting make up on and looking like a real human being that sleeps 6-7 hours a night and doesn't hear phantom cries when e/thing's quiet.

I have to look at apartments, I get to go by myself!  Touring with two little kids is no fun and since I'm the one that stays in the apartment the whole day, I get to pick it.  My husband can handle 2 hours of the children, I deal with 12+.  I am looking forward to finding the perfect apartment, no matter how long it takes ;)

We have a little over two months until move out and I'm getting packers and movers.  I get to choose my level of stress, anxiety is not going to lead my life anymore.  I've been meaning to take over my nerves, it just gets hard and I quit.  I'm hiring people to pack our regular stuff and I'll deal with the underwear and unmentionables.  The movers are amazing, we used them last year and the two guys work quickly and efficiently.  I am looking forward to fall when we can walk the kids twice a day or more!  I hope I can run by then, I'm working on that, too.

I worked on my butt, hips and inner thighs again.  I can see the muscles getting stronger.  My butt is actually sitting a little higher, it's crazy.  My inner thighs are looking like my quads do, I don't know how I'll know my hips are stronger.  It's crazy b/c I've worked them out only like a total of 4 times during the last two weeks...  Maybe with the massages and healing time, I'll be able to avoid the knee pain once my leg muscles get balanced again.  Wish me a lot of luck.  LOL.

Yeah-you don't want the packers/movers messing with your undies. I always drag my feet about throwing away old undies, too, because what if some scavenger finds them!!! Ewww!  I don't want them messing with my exundies! :P

Hey-if you get Netflix, there's a DVD called Strong Knees that might help you.

Sounds like you had a full day. Its always good to take some time out for yourself I can imagine two little kids can be a handful! I have two little nieces and I always get the BEST sleep after babysitting them for a couple of hours. They tire me out more than working out lol.

Wow you are brave, taking two little ones apartment hunting!  I hope they are calm for you!!  Sounds like you are working really hard to get your body back to running.  I know how much you miss it.  I wish our bodies would heal faster!  But you have a plan and a goal, and that is awesome.  I wanna see a pic of the new haircut!

After I used packers/movers for the first time I was on Cloud 9! Now there's a way to reduce your stress levels!

I'm impressed with how well you're coping with your knee.  The yoga should be a big help.
