Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

And I don't have much time to share, since I have a busy day planned. It's already been jam-packed, what with breakfast, errands, the massage and then my WW meeting, lunch and more errands ... but it's not slowing down anytime soon, since my agenda includes a workout, shower, the office holiday party and a trip down the hill to the Boyfriend's.

My OP week — and the massage, I'm sure! — paid off with a 5-pound loss at the scale. Yep. You read it right. I'm down 5 pounds from last week. That puts me at 191.8 (I think. It's 191.something, anyway. I don't have time to look it up right this minute.).

As for WW's new Momentum program, it doesn't seem all that different from what we've been doing. The tracker has gotten a makeover, and formerly Core foods are now called "filling foods" instead. But it seems to me like WW wants us all to eat like Roni does — counting Points but focusing on getting as many foods from the "filling foods" list as possible.

It should be an adventure. I'm still looking forward to the change. It'll be a nice reminder to eat fewer low-Point "snack" foods, I think. (I hope!)

I'm tired just reading all that! Enjoy your busy day and congrats on the fabulous loss! I swear, your body just keeps dropping off that way more and more!

That momentum program sounds interesting. Id love to find more information out about it since I dont attend meetings. perhaps online??? And only man FIVE pounds, that is GREAT!!!!

that's exactly what I was telling someone- the new plan doesn't seem any different! they've hyped it up, but there's no big changes except having one plan and not Flex/Core. oh well. congrats on the loss! you are EXACTLY at my weight! 191.8 crazy!

Like you, I didn't think the new program was that different, but just enough so to make me think more about the types of foods I'm eating and whether or not I'm really hungry. I just need to keep my head in the game of tracking my hunger levels and making sure to eat more of the filling foods and less of the things that aren't. I started the new plan yesterday and definitely thought more about those things today. Of course, I'm still on the Momentum honeymoon though. LOL
