Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

Monday morning I weighed in at 187 lbs...couldn't wait until this Monday to get on the scale back down to 183. There ya go Angie, you are officially right back to the weight you were at when you started slacking. I am happy. This is motivation. I am also pleased to say that I FIT into a size Large Aeropostale shirt that has been put through the dryer a few times. HA That's effin awsome. Their shirts always run small. Then throw in the dryer shrinkage....

I've been having a lot of issues with the homeschooling.. enough issues that we have decided it is just best to get them into a public school before we get ourselves in too deep with the kids education. I'm not going to get into hairy details, but this has been a HUGE stress for almost 4 weeks and I am glad we have finally came to a decision on what is best. The online school we chose was ridiculous. I will just leave it at that. I've researched and this was the cheapest and only option for us. It just isn't descriptive enough for them to be interested or absorb anything. I am setting them up for failure if I keep trying this. ......

Other than that...I have been working out 4 to 5 days a week and eating right most all of the time. I am planning on taking a 4 mile walk with the pooch tomorrow just to get out of the house a bit. Monday I am going to start adding more to my workouts PUSH UPS for one! Sigh....fun fun. lol

Congrats! Fitting back in clothes you secretly had no hope of ever wearing again is an awesome feeling, right? :)

congrats!

got me thinking, i should go to the mall and try stuff on in smaller sizes (won't fit)  so then I can get to a point like you and say "now they fit!"

I can only imagine how hard home schooling must be---and I'm a teacher!  I'm glad that the stress is soon to be resolved and that you know what you are doing is best for your kiddos in this situation.

Great job on keeping up the work and losing the weight!  Go you!

I am glad to see you posting and that you are doing so well. Home schooling is tough. Hope the kids are ready to go back to public school. The walk sounds wonderful.

Great job on the loss!

I have a huge respect to people who successfully home school, but it just seems to be like a really tough choice. I wouldn't give up my school time for anything! Maybe you can make sure you are available for volunteer time and participate in the school more, that way the administration will be more open to any suggestions or ideas you have for your kids. I volunteer a ton, and I notice that when I want or ask for something, the school is more likely to be accommodating because they know i'm present. Good luck with the changes!
