Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

Recently I took up bicycle riding again...I LOVED biking when I was in shape (and young). I just loved everything about it. Now that I am the size that I am, I took up the sport again. After a terrible first couple of rides, I was talking to my hubby about it.  I asked him "Do you think if I keep biking, I will start to look like a cyclist again?" He answered "Absolutely".

It got me thinking about this journey. Even if you are not a top athelete, the more you do an activity or sport, the more you will look like an avid...whatever...You will begin to develop the same muscles, your body will start to respond that way...

SWIM a lot and you will start LOOKING like a SWIMMER

BIKE a lot and you will start LOOKING like a CYCLIST,

JOG a lot and you will start LOOKING like a RUNNER, etc

With the Olympics just wrapping up, Who do you want to look like? My thought is, if you start doing their thing a lot, you might surprise yourself...That's how I see it!

Sooooo...you may never win a medal, but what do you want to look/be like?

It's such a great cardio workout-and I think it works many muscles!

I remember when I got on inclines sometimes I'd be panting and my heart would race.

In answer toyour question--if I look at fashion magazines a lot, I'll start looking like a supermodel!!

YEAH--RIGHT--wishful thinking!!!! :P

I like bike riding too. We have 2 great rail to trail bike trails here and it is so nice. It is paved so you can use a street or mountain bike. The nice thing about them is not dealing with car traffic. Most of the trail runs through woods and fields.
