No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
II've decided that needed my meltdown yesterday to get to where I am today.
I talked to my husband, I talked to a good friend.
Today I am on track again and I have 2 big supporters. My local friend and I have been walking once a week--more as a way to get to chat than for real exercise. After I confided in her the struggles I am having right now, we realized we have exactly the same amount of weight to lose, and we have pledged to help each other through this journey!
It feels so good to have that kind of support. My two in-person supporters and my on-line supporters here are a big inspiration to me. I hope I can help others the way I am getting help!
That being said, I had to drive for several hours to pick my 16yo son up from camp to take him to the dr.s to get stitches removed today. I got lost thanks to MapQuest and what should have taken 4 hours took almost 7 all together. I let him pick Subway or Burger King. He chose BK and I just grabbed a grilled chicken sandwich and some fries to eat while driving...not the best choice, but could have been much worse--Subway def has better options, but I felt bad for him--being at camp, not being able to swim or run or play sports?
I also didn't get exercise in but I was sooo tired from driving.
So now getting ready for dinner and trying to compensate for the day's choices.
Grilled Chicken (again), fresh steamed summer squash from the garden, and green beans.
It is important to make the best choices possible given the situation and it looks like you did just that. I think it is great to have a walking buddy. You can inspire one another on the days you don't feel like walking. Sounds like your getting this healthy thing going!
Your dinner sounded pretty healthy!
