31 days booze free self-challenge

There. I wrote it. That's all I thought about during spinning class tonight. Well, that and how I wondered if the gym had a defibrillator handy - you know - jjjjuuusstttt in case.

It was a good day on the food front. I've decided to drop Spark People. I don't think they'll miss me seeing that I only logged in for about 3 days. I just want to do what I've been doing and what I know what works - if I work it, of course.

I had more energy today than yesterday and am feeling better as each day goes by.

Still considering the trainer. Maybe I'll opt for less sessions - like maybe 20 sessions. They would be at a higher price per session but overall a LOT less $$ than 60 of those suckers.

Oh, yes, and I'm gonna cheat just a little on the booze free declaration. I haven't had any alcohol for the past 2 days so I'm counting today as Day 3. Booze is the one thing that I know keeps setting me back. The calories aren't worth it. I'm gonna try at least. Those of you know me know that I don't do goals and challenges very well (or hardly at all).

Spinning class was tough but great!

Happy Friday!

Food:

Breakfast (woke up at noon!): coffee (100), oatmeal (150), ab (100), almond milk (60), 1 tbsp maple syrup (50)
Snack: 2 c mango (225)
Lunch: leftover salmon, risotto and veggies (~400)
Snack: more of the lunch (~200)
Dinner: not sure yet - thinking of a salad and a sandwich (too lazy to cook)

Update: Dinner was a wrap made with a large tortilla, 2 lite LC wedges, 5 thin slices of chicken lunch meat, dijon mustard and as much salad as I could stuff in there (~400)
Total: within range - I'm determined!  ~1700

Exercise:

spinning - 1 hour - 500-600

Congrats on  your new challenge! :)  You can do it!

I checked out Spark People at one point--some areas seemed so busy that you could be easily overlooked--while many areas were rarely used.....

At least you know you matter here! :)

wine is my downfall.  one night with wine can ruin an an entire week for me.

I will be watching you complete this challenge. You can do it!! I just got back from a week's vacation and I ate bad. Eating out is nice as far as not cooking, but I found I just don't feel well. I think I am going to try a 21 day challenge since I blew the first week of this month!
