No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

0.6 lbs. away from my Goal for January. So close!! So, i'm out $20....But I'm seeing numbers that I haven't seen since the baby was born. If I wasn't such a nice person and agreed to bake all those cookies for a guy Hubby works with,who does prison ministry, I might have squeaked in! I have a slight affinity for cookie dough....and the finished product....And the next day when the chips are hard again... Basically, I'm a victim of my own success. I love my cooking! lol Being so stinking close infuriates, yet gives me hope at the same time. I can DO this! I NEED to LET myself do this! 

     I'm in for the February round of DietBet. I weighed in at 196.  My weight is up a little from yesterday because I decided I needed a treat and indulged in some wine ( grown up grape juice). What goes better with wine than cheese and crackers? Pepperoni and cheese and crackers. Believe me. The heartburn I had in the night was more than enough to convince me that ONE night of indulging is enough for a while!  My new target is 188.2.

This coming Sunday is going to be another Day. I had promised myself some Godfather's Pizza when the January stakes were over. SuperBowl is a crap-food day anyway, might as well lump the pizza in and call it a wash. Besides, there will be more people to share it with. Hubby isn't a Classic Combo fan, whereas, I can eat my weight in it.( I can taste it! Holy crap, I have pizza issues!) I will be having a spectacular  veggie tray. Why is it more fun to eat veggies 'off the tray'? There will also be some of this7-layer Taco Dip. I made a batch on Sunday and have been eating it for lunch. It's awesome! Instead of bagged chips, which I will use this Sunday, I was taking corn tortillas, sprayed with Pam and salted. Cutting them and baking them until crisp. ( 350-375 for 3-5 min. a side) Pretty darn tasty. But a little too labor intensive for Sunday's needs. Bagged chips it is.

So...Happy New Month Eve, everyone! Tomorrow the Valentine's Day decor is coming out, snow is being forecast for Saturday. ( not significant amounts, but beats rain) and we are gathering on Sunday to watch commercials and eat!

Oh, so frustrating to be so close. I missed out on the sign up for the first diet bet, but I am in for February--the shortest month of the year! (which also happens to hold birthdays for myself, my husband, my mom, my best friend, my brother in law, and my sister in law....oh yeah, and valentine's day)

Are you sure there's no "brown weight" or fluid retention that you can't get rid of that might help the numbers?

Congratulations, girl! I didn't make it either but just look at how much you DID lose! 0.6 is damn close. I had 1.5 left and then realized it was actually more because I was weighing without my camera which is not exactly light. We'll get it done for February!
