No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
Ok- here it is!!! :)
With the help of my life couch I have made a plan for myself. At this point I have kind of lost faith in myself and my abilities to lose this weight. If I can have 1 successful week, I think I will believe in myself again. If I can have 1 successful week, I think I will feel motivated again. Just 1 week!
I don't know about in America- but here in England an eating plan called 5:2 has become an overnight sensation. A doctor here did a program on the BBC about it- and it is really taking off. Basically you fast for 2 days (only you don't really fast- you calorie restrict to 500 calories) and the other 5 days you eat sensibly. So- what does sensibly mean??? Good question. I will figure out how many calories I need to maintain my current weight and then I will eat fewer calories than that for my 5 days. Should be around 1500 calories- maybe even a little higher. That's it for my eating plan. I am being accountable to my Coach- emailing her everyday. (I think that is what you wanted me to include in my plan Keem) :)
I will begin tomorrow and cross my first finish line next Friday. Then I will plan for my next week.
I am also going to sign up for a 5k. I can't run (injuries), but I can speed walk.
I will be adding pilates, yoga, and swimming to my exercises. I have to break up with step (BIG FROWN)
Who will join me in having 1 successful week???
Hugs!!!

Definitely good to have a plan sest out. Sounds like you have a good variety of exercises!
At least (on the positive side) it forces you to try new things. :)
As for the eating--if it works out for you-great! If not, nothing lost-sometimes we have to try new things to help us realize what does/doesn't work for us.
If it doesn't work, we'll help you figure out something that does. :)

I am in. I did some reading about the 5:2 diet but worry if I could do it. 500 calories 2 days a week. Someone else here talked about the 8 hour diet. Basically you eat healthy calories, but you have to eat them all within 8 hours and fast the other 16. Some folks start 10-6, others 12-8. So both 5:2 and the 8 hour seem to have fasting involved. Let us know how it goes. I am going to challenge myself to get 1 good week under my belt too.
