Hi everyone! I am new to blogging and coming over here from findingthemiddleground.blogspot.com. I started weight watchers August 11th. (I'm just doing it at home, not going to meetings or paying online.)
Today was my weigh in day- week 4. After losing 17 pounds the first 3 weeks, I was okay with losing nothing or just losing a pound or so.. and I lost 1.5 pounds. Pretty much what I expected.
I just wanted to say I am so different this time around when it comes to losing weight and being on ww. The other times I was on ww, as long as I stayed within my points (both daily and flex- and I would always use all my flex points) then I didn't really care when or how I used them. For some reason this time I have been so much more careful with my flex. I think I have still used most or all of them every week, but the way in which I am using them has been different. I used to just blow them on fast food or going out to eat, and I still do sometimes, but I also blow them on healthier foods now too. I guess I just don't want to slow down my weight loss. And before, I wouldn't think twice about using them but this time I'm being so careful about when I use them. Last week I almost made it through with 26 flex points left but then the husband suggested mexican and it was all over. Not that I think it's wrong to use them, because I really believe the theory that says if you have a high point day one day a week it will shock your body/jump start your metabolism. Even on the Biggest Loser (the best! show! ever!), the trainers let them eat whatever they want for one meal per week. And I have always found it works when I'm losing weight.
Well I'm super excited to get to know all of you and be a part of this community!
