No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

I've been hustling to get back in a grove.  On the 31st, I had a training out of town, immediately followed by a conference in D.C. where my Director and I left on Saturday and came home Tuesday night.

I tried to set myself up for success by packing proportioned snacks and bringing fruit with me to nibble on.  I drank lots of water too .... and we walked A L O T.

However, for the most part, food options were not in my control so I had to be intentional in my eating.

I wasn't going to weigh when I got home, but I did and was up .8.  Not bad really.  However, since Wednesday to last night its be hard to find my groove again.  Last night when I got home from work, I was hungry and thought --- this is not going to end well.  And it didn't.  UGH.

But that was yesterday.  Today is a new day.  I need to clean the fridge and go grocery shopping so that I have good options to choose from.  I also intend on getting out to the park for a long walk/interval run.

I have a weigh in on Monday and I don't want to have an official gain.

Welcome home. Travel can really cause us to lose focus. But it sounds like you did okay given all obstacles. Drinking water, walking, mindful eating. Sounds like you are doing it right. I myself have been struggling with the desire to run & eat right. But I am slowly making my way back on track.

It sounds like you did make good decisions and have a plan to get you back on track at home.  I bet you will lose that .8 at next week's weigh in!
