No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
I have been doing WW for 9 years and have made lifetime and gone up and down with my weight. I am currently 14 lbs from my lifetime weight and I am going to commit to sticking to the plan until it comes off and I think switching to whole grains will do the trick.
Over the years I have tried countless wheat and whole grain breads but I keep going back to my favorite white bread. I just love it and nothing tastes the same on wheat. I have even tried white breads that claim to be wheat....still not the same.
Please send me any suggestions on your favorite wheat or whole grain breads. I really need to find the best and make the switch for good!!!

Comment by Almost There on December 10, 2011 at 4:55pm That is such a tough one! I'm guessing you probably love the really smooth texture of the white bread? It will be really hard to find a whole grain bread that will compete. Maybe if you switch to something that isn't like sliced loaf bread. I like the Thomas' light english muffins. They need to be toasted but they have a good fiber and protein profile. I have sandwiches on them quite often.
What about whole grain white?

I would say if you like the white bread that much and by now haven't found a good comparison, I would stick with eating the white bread. I have found that there are some foods that I'm not willing to give up or trade for something else that I don't like as much.
