No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
It's about time! Shesh! I hit the scale yesterday morning (as is my habit) and saw a loss. A very nice loss. I very, very happy. I knew, basically, no matter what, I would not have to say I stayed the same again this week. Then I got on the scale this morning for the "official" weekly weigh-in. And I was down MORE!!!!! This week, drum roll please, a loss of 3.2 pounds! Woohoo!
It's funny though, because this week I've barely done any exercise. I went out Friday (12 mile bike/3 mile run), Saturday (2 mile run/8.5 mile bike/1 mile run), and Monday (1 mile run/5 mile bike) in preparation for my duathlon tomorrow (eek!), then nothing. I was going to run Wednesday night, but it was 97 degrees on Wednesday and we went out with a friend for dinner. So,I skipped it. And I'm ok with that. But, I find it ironic that I spent the last month busting my butt to train for the duathlon and lost nothing. This week, I worked out early in the week, did nothing during the week days, and lost. LOL! The body is a strange, strange thing.
I will say, I did join in Roni's no eating at night challenge. My take on it was nothing after 8:00 p.m. And I didn't eat any food after 8:00 p.m. starting Monday (when I saw the challenge). It's been a bit rough at times, but I stayed the course and didn't eat anything. Last night I was finishing my dinner (we ate late because the cats had to go to the vet) and I went a few minutes past 8:00 p.m., but I was still eating the meal I started long before 8:00 p.m. so I finished the carrots, celery and Ranch dressing I was eating, but did not have the WW ice cream bar I so wanted. I know this had something to do with my loss this week. And I'll be keeping this up next week as well!
So, since coming here to blog and be accountable I'm down 5.6. Not going gang busters or anything, but it's down. I'm not going to complain. Just need to keep going from here.
