disappointment .... comes from not losing enough when you are working so hard! In the past two and a half weeks I have ONLY lost .8 lbs ... now I know people will say hey that is going in the right direction ... but I have been working out 5x a week and eating my points or less ... i should see more weight coming off!

Week 7 ... I want to fail .... self sabotage !!!

So ... I am not even sure where to start ... 


PART ONE : Trigger

This past weekend all my family and husbands family came in town for our son Matthew's 3rd Birthday party! I counted points and did really well ... I even aloud myself to have yummy dessert every night (within points). But when I stepped on the scale Monday morning ... I had gained 2lbs ... Week 6 ... This is where it gets hard ...

Week 6 .... -1.2 lbs (as of this morning ... I WI tonight at my meeting too) 


So this is the point in a new diet where I lose steam ... I know this time will be different ... for several reasons:


1. Weekly Meetings

2. Weighing in infront of someone else

3. My Goals

4. I committed to do this for a year! 

5. I have 2 sons (Matthew 3 and Issac 9 weeks) who I know will be harder and harder to keep up with ... and I want to be the mom…

5% at Week 5

So this is straight to the point ... I lost 2.6 lbs this week and I got my 5% sticker!!! 

12.8 lbs in 5 weeks


week 1 -7.6

week 2 - 0

week 3 - 1.6

week 4 -1

week 5 -2.6

Goals ... and rewards

So today I was thinking about setting some goals for myself ... 


Start weight 242.2


5% 230.2 - just the glory of it! (and hopefully tomorrow)

10% 218.2 - a girls night out to dinner and a movie 

pre-baby 207 - a mother's necklace

175 -

Motivation and Dinner out ...

So last night I went out with my best friend from college ... which was somewhat scary for me ... but I talked to her and made sure I knew where we were going ahead of time ... We went to Salsarita's I got the Bare Burrito ... to me it was almost like a shell-less taco salad ... I got refried beans, black beans, chicken, pico, cilantro, onion, guac and a ton of lettuce ... I also added hot sauce on it ... so good! It was actually their monday night special ... so good for the belly and good…

Week 4 Weigh In = 10.2 total

Tonight I weighed in at -1 lbs. 


Week 1 - 7.6

Week 2 - 0

Week 3 - 1.6

Week 4 - 1


Total= 10.2 lbs


So excited that I got my 10 lb star tonight! Now if I lose 2 lbs next week I will reach my 5% ... 


So goal for tomorrow is to do the elip ... Sat go for a hike .... and keep moving the rest of the week! 


I can do it ... any tips ?

Tasty Tuesday

(First off last night I found a workout set on the weight watchers page for Buff Brides ... even though I am not a bride I am going to do it ... it gives you the workouts to do with weights, bands or just yourself. I thought it would be a great way to get alittle extra something in at night while watching TV ... yesterday was tough ... I had to bounce back last night and today ... I feel great and today I have a wonderful plan ...)

Alittle Binge ....


So today was going great until after naptime ... we got alittle snack. 


But instead of counting out some chips into a bowl I ate right out of the bag ... until it was almost gone ... 

Now my belly hurts and it was for nothing ... its not even that I really like those chips ... I was just careless ... 

so then I was like oh well messed up ... I'll go ahead and have a skinny cow ... 


Now to be on points for the day I need to eat only 0…

Friday = Pizza Night


Tonight is pizza night at our house ... 


(Last Tuesday we went to Atlanta and stopped by Trader Joe's ... so I stocked up on supplies!)

Week 3 (The Daily Weigh-In)

This week was difficult ... yet wonderful! 


Two days after my second weigh in ... I was down 2lbs ... Ofcourse this brought on the idea I could have a big week. 

Then I was weighing in every morning and it was going back up ... this was upsetting to say the least. But I used the Weight Watchers community to help me get through this ... and it stuck with the program. I also felt great this week ... from the inside out!
