Weekly update 3/19

Honestly it was an okay week nothing fantastic. It's been crazy busy at work and I have literally been running my but off.

Weight- Down 4.5 lb

Food- I did okay this week but it could have definitely been better and knowing that I should be making better choices makes me feel guilty after I make a poor choice. I also need to be better about documenting in mfp.

Exercise- I was able to get a 1.5 mile walk in today and want to start some gardening and possibly get a bike…

Weekly update 3/13/17

So last week I posted about the frustrations of the scale so this morning I stepped on to the scale that I have been using for over a year and it said I was one weight which I really questioned so I stepped on my husbands withings smart scale and it was like a 6 lb difference. So I have decided to just continue with the withings scale as that seems to be more accurate than the one that I was using.

So I stepped on the scale on Sunday it said I was up like 7 lbs and then stepped on it again this morning and it was down 4 lbs from Sunday. It's so frustrating being so attached to that thing and so dependent on what its going to say! Last week I ate poorly and exercised to little and Mother Nature is not helping matters. Like Erica said bring on spring!!

Weekly Update 2/26

Honestly it was an okay week nothing fantastic. I think it would have been better had we not gotten 4 inches of snow and kept the 60 degree temps! Oh well at least there's only 2 weeks left until daylight savings.

Weight- Down 0.6 lb

Food- I did okay this week but it could have definitely been better however I also realize it could have also been worse.

Exercise- Was same as with the food it could've been better but could've been worse.

Weekly update 2/20

Sorry this is a a day late. So not a bad week overall I worked all weekend stayed mostly on track with food however after 10-11 hour days I'm not much in the mood for exercising and I didn't gain this week but I also didn't lose any either. I definitely need to get some exercising done even after work to get through this plateau before it consumes me and I give up again. Plus 1.5 lbs to go before my goal date in 2 days. I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Weekly update 2/12/17

Things have been going well this week. Enjoying a relaxing weekend off. Back around Christmas time I set a short term goal that I wanted to lose 8 lbs by my birthday and I'll be honest I really didn't think that it would happen and now my birthday is in 10 days and I am less than 2 lbs away from that goal and it feels amazing. The 40-50 degree weather we've been having here in Northwest Iowa(in February) doesn't hurt either ;)

Am I Crazy?

So there is a 5K in a nearby town on June 10th. I have decided to start training myself for it. I haven't ran since I was in high school.

Yesterday was the first day of training and afterwards I didn't feel to bad other than the fact that my lungs were on fire! Today I don't hurt as much as I thought I would but my hips are definitely feeling it.

So I know it's been a while since I've posted anything but I've just been feeling really down about my weight. I've been so up and down on the scale lately. I know that it's not supposed to be easy but I just wish it wasn't this hard. My boyfriend is more exercise and eat whatever you want and I'm the opposite. I have no motivation to workout and exercise but I try working on portion control and eating more veggies. Sometimes I feel like screaming and crying. Anyone have any tips to help?

Weekly Update

Where to begin... This last week has been interesting. I read a book called The Night Shift Diet and thought I'd like to try that but before I even got started I realized that I wasn't going to be able to go low carb. Weekly Update 6/16/15

Moving in the right direction with a .4 loss.

Activity-Between my sleeping schedule being completely out of whack(I HATE OVERNIGHTS) and mother nature thinking this last week would be a good week to let the clouds open up.. getting out and walking was practically non-existent gotta love the Midwest weather.

Weekly Review 6/8

So according to the scale I'm up 3.3 lbs. I have one of those withings smart scales and I think that part of the problem is that I don't stand on it the same way every week normally I lean forward to see what it says but I feel like when I stand up straight it's getting a more accurate reading. Weekly Update 6/2/15

Last week was kind of a blah week and this week hasn't started off the greatest. I made okay okay choices and between work sleep and the weather I didn't really get out and walk anywhere near as much as I would have liked but I still had a 0.4 loss and as we all know a loss is still a loss. Weekly Update 5/25/15

So I would definitely say that this week was a success.

Food- I made mostly good choices with the help of myfitnesspal I started calorie counting again it had been about 10 months since I had used the app and after seeing it pop up in various posts I thought I should start using it again. It's only been a few days but it seems to be going well.

Weekly Review

Okay so the scale went down this week(1.6lbs). Which is great. However with losing 16 lbs I feel like I should be seeing some sort of results and I'm not. If anything I feel like I look bigger than before. I'm just so frustrated with this.

This week has not started out well I let last week's gain get me down even though I told myself I wouldn't. The eating hasn't been to bad but I only did one workout and walked 5 miles with a friend to which now my entire body hurts. I am feeling very defeated today.

Getting started

My starting weight was 348.2. That was about a month ago. I am currently at 329.3. My goal is 150. I see the scale. It says I'm losing weight but yet I don't feel like I have. I struggle everyday to get out and be active which I feel partially has to do with working overnights. My boyfriend helps but I just wish I had the motivation all the time.
