No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
So disappointed :( I've been working out mostly everyday and eating healthy and still not losing weight. I know people say you "gain muscle weight" but come on...I look thinner and feel better but I just want the scale to start going down :( It's discouraging me... I'm using MyFitnessPal to keep track of my calories/fat/protein/carbs and everyday I'm under my limit...getting frustrated.

So needless to say, it's been difficult. BUT I'm going to record my progress so when marathon time comes I can look back and see how far I've come and never let myself get back to that level. So I'm pretty active, I hike, I go to the gym often, but running has never been my thing...
With my marathon training plan, my plan stated for the first week to run in intervals of 5 minutes, walk 5, run 5, walk 5....I couldn't even run 3minutes to begin with :(
Now I'm…

So I've been eating pretty clean and curbing my cravings...today I had a BAD craving! I was sitting in class literally DREAMING about a cheeseburger and fries from Wendy's! I looked it up online.. the meal contained over 800 calories without a drink... INSTEAD, I came home and cooked myself an organic bratwurst (6g of fat) and 190 calories and organic fries! (3g of fat and 140 calories) on a whole wheat bun (90 calories) and was entirely satisfied! The Wendy's meal had over 40 grams of…

Hi y'all, sorry I haven't been posting, I just started school at ASU and am taking classes at a local community college as well...23 credits total...plus working 2 jobs...so needless to say I've been crazy!
I'm going to be doing another Marathon! Have started training but getting the flu in the middle of last week inhibited my progress :( Will update! :) Wish me luck!

I've made it to day 6 of my healthy eating! I've snacked on a few too many sunchips but no fast food, no soda, and no junk food per se... I've exercised every day except yesterday because I was SO sore, but I think a day break a week is alright. Today's healthy food:
All organic btw...
Breakfast: Kashi cereal with skim low fat vanilla milk
Missed my morning snack because I was out and about!
Lunch: tuna (little bit of lowfat mayo&relish) on kashi…

In the morning I'm going to get up early & work out & conquer the world!!! .....aaaand then my alarm goes off and I have absolutely NO motivation to get up, thus hitting the snooze button and awakening an hour later, not being able to get a workout in before I begin my long day :( I don't know why I do this! I feel so motivated before I go to sleep, promising myself that I will get up to workout early, and then I just can't do it when the time comes. My schedule is hectic most days…

Is all organic really all that it claims to be? I've been purchasing most of my food items from organic stores lately due to my allergy to fruits/veggies that have been exposed to high amounts of pesticides... I've been wondering though is it really all that better for you? (I know it's not better for my wallet!) I understand that high fructose corn syrup and preservatives aren't very good for you but people have been consuming them for years. My thought/wonder is have people had any serious…

Why can't I control myself is a question I consistently ask myself. I have this whole new fresh idea...wake up and 1.) no bad eating, 2.) no fast food, 3.) exercise regularly. My plan normally starts off great, I'll keep it up for a few days and then I'll have a bad day. I tell myself "go ahead and grab some take-out, it'll make you feel better". I do and afterwards I feel so horribly guilty over it that I figure why continue, I've already ruined this week...I'll start again next week. So…
