Heyy!

So, I have NOT been very active on this site.

Now, I am so close to my goal that I can taste it!

With the new year rapidly approaching, I will be using this to track my progress and keep me motivated!

Where's my feed bag?

So, I'm sitting here contemplating what to have for dinner.  Again.  I really wish I did not dread cooking!  It's not like I am a horrible cook or anything, either.  I can do it if I set my mind to it, but,to be perfectly honest, I really don't like it.  Seriously.  Dislike it in epic proportions.  There are so many more interesting things I would like to do instead of cooking.  And the mess!  Cleaning the pots and pans, chopping, measuring, sauteing, etc.- it's just so much work. Jan Goals

I made monthly goals to get me to my yearly goals.

 

January

1. Get lesson plans done at school

2. Go to Montreal for immigration interview

3. Use Jillian Michaels DVD everyday in Jan- remember to take it to Montreal and the laptop

4. Find 5K and 10K races and write them on the calendar

5. Enjoy life with hubby

6. Exercise 30 mins a day

7. Run a 5k on the treadmill and write the time on the calendar

2011 Resolutions Recap- 2012 Resolutions

2010 New Years Resolutions

1. Join a gym - DONE

2. get a personal trainer- DONE

1. Run 100 miles by my birthday -  DONE

2. Run a 5K in 36 minutes by my birthday - DONE 35:22

And baby makes three!!

So December 20th, my husband and I welcomes a 9 lb 1 oz baby boy into the world, named Tristan Blake!  LIfe has been a tad hectic since his arrival, with getting out of the hospital the day before christmas, having to have a c section, and recovering from that, and from being 1st time parents!  So far everything is going well!! As far as weight is concerned I gained 24 lbs in pregnancy, and so far 11 days since giving birth I am down 36 lbs! So i'm feeling pretty good, and recovering well…

Well, Dec. 31st is here and tomorrow starts a brand new year. At the end of June of this year I had had it. I was tired, fed up, just simply done living such an unhealthy and inactive lifestyle. happy new year, lovely ladies

so, full disclosure, i have fallen off the wagon the last couple of weeks. i have maintained but haven't lost anything and haven't hit the gym once. guess i just got lazy with the calorie counting. i wanted to eat and not think about it for a little while. and i sprained my ankle in colorado visiting a friend from high school 2 weeks ago. it's back to normal now minus the ugly bruises, so what better time to jump back on the wagon and the treadmill than january 1st,…

A Full Day

My family just left and while I'm really sad, at the same time I'm busy looking ahead at what's to come.  I have a New Year's Eve party and a house to clean and lesson plans to get to when I get home tomorrow.

The scale hasn't budged and that has been frustrating.  I was hoping I could see a positive change since I've been tracking, but I guess it will take a while for my body to adjust.  It probably doesn't help that I've been getting less sleep with my nieces…

back to reality...not soon enough

OMG - yes, that's me yelling. I'm more than ready for the holidays to be done, finito, bastante, completely over with. I actually did really well (all things considered) the entire last week while visiting family but I don't know what happened once I hit  the airport to fly home today/tonight. FAILED AGAIN! =( Need help

I seriously don't know what is with me, but I start up fine, but then I quit all together. Too much stress and I feel like if I can't do all the things I want to do that day for exercise then I lose and just quit all together. It's weird, but do any of you do this? First Challenge--harder than I thought...

resolutions

I've been thinking about it and I have a couple of new years resolutions goals for 2012.

(It won't be to drop these last few pounds-that's not a resolution-it's something that WILL happen and not just something I want to happen.)

Take that, Chick-fil-a!

We bought our life insurance policies today.  All 4 of us are insured, it's such a huge relief to have done that.  How can I call myself an insurance professional when not one of us was taken care of?  Anyway, so I had to drag my hubby out of bed at 7:30 and we got my parents to watch the kids.  We got to the office and spent 3 hours there getting e/thing ironed out.  Breakfast was salty chik-fil-a (is it "chick"?) and a cup of coffee at the office.  I came home and had a quick sandwich with…

Good-bye, 2011!

So glad 2011 is drawing to a close.   While there were good times, most of the year was spent working too much, eating too much, and worrying too much.  I am sitting here reflecting and deciding that I only want to make one change for 2012:

Day 6 - Gearing Up For A New Year

Lots to say!

Hello everyone, its been a couple of weeks since I"ve written. December has been a very very stressful month and I've kind of just put everything on hold. My job has been crazy (dog groomer), everyone wants me to petsit, one of my finches passed away, my computer got a virus and has been being fixed for 3 weeks (luckily my mom let me borrow hers these last few days). Frustrating Morning

The puppy seems to have dislocated his jaw so hubby took him to the vet.  I'm at home with the nieces, one of which left her doll on the couch and it got chewed on by the dog.  Now she's upset, although I told her not to leave her toys where the dogs could get them.  It's frustrating for me because that doll in particular was kind of expensive.  UGH.
