just a quick little note tonight I'm super tired today.  I had weight in tonight and I was up another 1.8 pounds.  Thats five pounds in the last three weeks.  I sis stop today on my way home from weight watchers to pick up some fruit and salad veggies.  Got to get back in the habit of eating the good health guild lines.  I'm not setting any other goals for myself this except to track weather it be good bad or ugly it's going down on paper.

Spinning !!!

I took my first spinning class tonight! I got there early and there were already 2 people in the room warming up. What? Um, OK. They ignored me even though it was pretty obvious I had no idea which bike to pick (there were different sizes) or how to adjust anything (so many knobs all over the place!). Victory Sure Feels Sweet.

So, for those who haven't read my last blog, I mentioned that I take on the challenge of writing 50,000 words of fiction every November as part of National Novel Writing Month. Well, today was the last day, and I defeated the challenge! 50,524 words, and I feel AWESOME! I wish I could have this feeling of true accomplishment more often. So many times, I accomplish things like good grades, losing five or ten pounds and I just think "Well, great, but there's three more semesters or eighty more…

Ain't that just the way it goes?

Yep, Weigh-in Wednesday again.  This week I lost 1.8 lbs.  Now, I'd like for all of you to remind me of this when I complain about how hard I worked for a week and didn't see a loss.  That will be karma for getting to be a loser this week when I overindulged.  As I've said before, I am beginning to think that scale has a bit of a delay factor in it for me.  Of course I think it also helped that my big indulgence days were Thursday and Saturday so I really scaled in the eating for the last 3…

The Season Has Officially Started

Last night was the first cheer game.  It was a JV game, but it starts off the basketball season.  Now my days will be even more full--of driving back and forth to games in the evening. 


I'm super tired, so I'm keeping this short.  I have a "date" with the hubby to watch a movie and then put up the Christmas tree.  I also have to work out somewhere in there!

Pros and Cons

Pro: New clothes!


Con: Realizing the night before a job interview that all your suits do not fit because you lost 20 pounds since you last wore them and now need to rush to the store for a suit/tights/shoes.


Yea, yea, I get that this is a good position to be in, but now I'm stressed.  LOL!

Ready to workout.

I am so ready to hit the gym today. I took last night off to relax with the family, but I am now chomping at the bit to hit the gym. I haven't been pushing myself as hard as I have before and I can tell the difference. I am going to make a new playlist of songs for the MP3 player. I even thought about downloading podcasts of Jillian Michaels so I have something to listen to while I run. The weather has turned really cold and wet here so no more exercising outside for me. Stubborn 10 Update

Ok- so it it time to keep it honest.  Things have taken a turn for the worse! :(   After my great start to lost the last 10 I am right back where I started!  UGH!!  I know why.  So… to make myself feel better I am going to list the excuses reasons…

  • Clemson Football Tailgate and reunion- this started the downward spiral
  • Traveling to California for Thanksgiving- this made Thanksgiving more than a day.  Lot’s of indulgences…

Transformation - Background (Day 0)

About me:

I am a 5'7" 34 yr old mother of 2 who has tried quite possibly every diet out there.  And as of today (11/29/11) I am officially at the highest weight (193.6 lbs)I have ever seen, including when i gained 60+ lbs with my first daughter.

But I can still remember what it was like to be fit and how awesome it was to go shopping and know everything looked great!

So just before Thanksgiving I ordered Shakeology from a friend who is a coach for Beachbody…

12:15am post - get-more-sleep goal not met yet for this week

It's definitely LATE. 

I'm definitely TIRED.

This will definitely be SHORT. 

Very long day. I stayed at school until 8pm because I'm trying two completely new lessons tomorrow and so had to get them all together. That will several overdue LORs and a bunch of other piled up work - ugh. This always happens when I go completely work-free when I'm on vacation. 25 Days of Fitness

That's right. I am starting a challenge for myself- 25 Days of Fitness! I will work to complete at least 45 minutes of activity for 25 days in December. I'm going to log my activitiy every day and kick butt this next month. While everyone else is gaining this month, I'm gonna be losing and ringing in the new year in style.....and hopefully a shiny size six dress:)


I'm going to go to at least 2 BodyPump classes a week and 2 Spinning classes and then fill the rest of my week…
