Holy cow - week 7 already - that's really great for me because usually I give up after 4 weeks. I am glad that I am keeping up with it.
We started out with warm ups as always, then we did ladders for about 15 minutes or so - that is always rough on the arches and shins, but I made it though all of them except the last two.

Did good today stayed within calories. I ran two miles since no biking. I planned on doing the same tomorrow but I have to work early so only one mile and Pilates. I'm eating more calories like my body is asking even though I hate it. And my body is loving it. My weight is finally dropping. No weigh in again until Wednesday but I'm feeling good about it. I also do measurements that day. I hope you all are doing well keep up the good work.
So I have been thinking over the past couple of days about setting some goals.
For the next couple of days I've decided to focus on cutting down on drinking tea and coffee. It would not be unusual for me to drink about 5-6 cups a day. Considering I put two sugars in a coffee and one in tea, all that is going to add up. The second part of this goal is to drink more water. Replace the tea and coffee with glasses of water.

Yesterday the hubby and I snuck out for a mini date night- he wanted to go to Claim Jumper's for beer and wings. I have been working so hard lately that I told him I was going to let it be a cheat meal, which I had a hard time doing without guilt! I miraculously got over it ;-) and we got all our old favorites: calamari, wings, and shared a burger and fries- after all that food I was stuffed, he wanted to get dessert and I had no willpower so we shared a really rich chocolate baked dessert.…Continue
I do not feel empowered by carrot sticks. NO matter how many I eat I still feel hungry. But I don't have enough points to eat anything I want to eat so here I sit with a large bag of carrots in sadness.
Another week down, another pound down. I'm 4 weeks into maintenance and feeling good. I had a good week this week with sticking to my habits that I know work (good food choices and working out) while not feeling super stressed about those two things. That is my goal--to become more relaxed in this lifestyle, realizing that there will be fluctuations, but I know how to handle them. Today was my 3rd visit with my life coach. And I am feeling amazing. I have seen a couple huge changes in my relationship with husband as well as my relationship with food. Today focused on how certain words can make your brain go haywire. Like for instance he asked me what I thought when he said sugar detox and what that would mean for me. Yesterday I ran week 5 day 3 of the C25K program. It was the first time I ran unbroken for 20 minutes. My split times were 9’39”/mi I had tears in my eyes when I finished with those numbers, was so excited I forgot to stretch afterwards! It was on a flat surface (high school track), but still!!! Today is my check in day, as I like to be check in after the weekend. It's good to have it in my head that I'll be facing the scale! My weight didn't change but my body fat went down 1 point. I'm actually really surprised that I didn't have a loss this week because I've been working out every single day and I've really amped up the intensity of my workouts. I have finally reached the dress size that has been my weight-loss goal for many months. It feels great! All I can say is it has been worth the wait, as I know I have done it the healthy way and I have increased my fitness levels in the process. Finally found a picture of myself pre ditching the weight and a recent one right before I headed out to the gym. Wow! What a difference. And the main thing is how much better I feel.
So I skipped my WI this morning. Mentally, I was not prepared. For some reason when I weighed myself this morning, I was up over last week even though I have been on point all week. In fact, I got TEN AP's yesterday and I started C25K week 2. I think maybe it was because I had a steak for dinner last night. Why hello there folks! I did go to boot camp yesterday morning at 530 AM! I know I'm crazy but I really just wanted to get it done and out of the way for the day. Saturday morning boot camps are almost an hour long. This was a hard boot camp.
