End of week 5

So tomorrow marks the end of week 5....

5 weeks of working out Monday through Friday, and 20 minutes on Saturday - me the non exerciser! I can not believe it. Not to mention that I completed a 55 minute work out today on my Gazelle. My personal goal is to get to 60 minutes and I will make it.

Down 3 (and a little TMI)

The past few days I've been really motivated and driven, despite the fact that there's been no weight change. Actually there was even a .2 gain... So because of that I've been super careful with what I've consumed and really kept to the VLCD that hCG requires. I attributed the lack of weight loss to water retention, less BM the past few days, and just getting my period. For Willow

Thanks Willow for the encouragement. I went to a new slimming world club running last night just 5 mins, car journey from here and enjoyed it especially since it was a food night where people prepare some of their favourite dishes then everyone gets to taste. I had turkey chow mein, Moroccan stew and pasta salad, then 3 different deserts based on sugar free jelly and fat free yoghurts, meringue and mousse. One Month Mark

So I have been diligently counting my calories for one month and I have made my goal of losing five pounds. It feels really good to hit the mark but more than that I have more energy then when I started. I am amazed at what a difference eating less junk makes to your health. No Loss... :)

I was really ramping up with a steady loss last week, and now my salty days have put a halt to that. Bummer...I will be drinking tons of water and trying to watch my portions. Awww! Give me a BREAK! ;P

This must mean that I have shedded most of my water weight. It's down a half pound from yesterday, so my complaint is null and void.

I had a good day yesterday. Later in the evening, Hubby requested a pizza. I tossed a Totinos in the oven for him and made my own on a Flat Out. Toasting it for a few minutes helped tremendously. Sore all over and it feels great!

I can feel that I've been working hard and I love it. I'm crossing my fingers that I can keep this momentum going. I'm not sure if I've posted since I ran on the treadmill. worst day yet...

I am a social worker for our state's child protection agency. It is my passion; I love empowering parents and kids in making better choices in life. By far the toughest part of my job is when I have to remove kids from their parent only second to telling kids that they will never be reunited with their parents. Well yesterday, I did both.

Is anyone else a huge fan of the Biggest Loser??? I have to laugh because in previous seasons I remember sitting down with some girlfriends watching it and pigging out because we thought there was no way we'd end up like that. Of course we haven't, but it was definitely not a great choice.

Today=Total Fail!

I'm discouraged! Funny how I can go from yesterdays post where I was happy with the week to todays post where I feel like crap. I was starving today and had nothing in the house to eat really so I ate a random assortment of crappy food. Conservative Goals

Are you like me in that every time you start a new diet or workout regime you want TO LOSE SO MUCH WEIGHT SO FAST? FASTER!!!!

Like that? I always want at least 1.5 pound a week, which is healthy (but totally uncool in the Jackie Warner world-- y'all watching that?)
