Where to start?

So I joined the site with the hopes of finding some great advice and friends along the way. I would like to lose between 40 and 50 lbs and I am not sure where to even start! Disappointing WI

So last night was weigh in and I was only down 0.2lbs. I was VERY disappointed considering I did 30DS level 1 x2 and level 2 x1 last week, plus a 90 minute Bikram yoga class on Friday night and a 60 minute spin class on Monday night. I was super choked at weigh in! I even made it a goal to eat vegetables at lunch and supper every single day! And I did, except for Friday night. Just do it

That's how I felt this evening about exercise. I wasn't that excited. I wasn't enthusiastic. It was more of an attitude like "I have to do this or I'll feel really guilty." So I jogged a fast two miles tonight (because I just wanted it over with) and did my 30DS (laborious), but it's done, and I'm glad I did.

Attack of the Cookies

I've had a pretty good day. I got up early and cleaned the bathroom, did some laundry, and swept the rest of the house. I'm *finally* almost done cleaning my room. When I got back from my internship in Maine everything was coated in dust. Unfortunately, I had to hit the ground running with school committments, so things just kept piling on top of the dust. Being sick and @ home

At home..sick...studying fro microbiology. Food around. How is it that when people are sick they lose their appetite..I am not one of them :)

Breakfast: 3/4 c. cereal, 1 TB almonds, 1 TB raisin, 1 banana, 1 c. rice milk
Snack: 1 apple, 1/2 banana, 1 tsp. peanut butter

Off to study and make myself a cup of tea. I have a stew in the crockpot..it's gonna make my house smell yummy

I quit

I was doing soooo well. I was so proud of all the decisions that I was making. I was drinking plenty of water, getting lots of exercise. Oh it was fabulous. I felt good about myself. I haven't felt that in a long time. I started on the 15th of Sept. and had been doing well for 2 weeks. That is the longest that I have stuck with a "diet" in FOREVER.

Emotion Overload

I had a bad week last week. I owned up to it and vowed to learn from it and use it for motivation. I did exactly that this week. I had an ENTIRE week of good food choices and working out. I don't have one "regret" from this past week. I knew during this week I wanted to be away from the scale so that it wouldn't control my emotions, but I have been looking forward to my weigh in all week because of the good choices I have been making.

Feeling a little...uncertain

Which is a little hard for me to admit. I don't know how I have gotten so far off track, without actually getting off track. I know that doesn't really make sense, but it does to me. Back in July I joined livestrong.com, which is a huge asset to me losing weight. I will not say otherwise, even though since I started actually tracking my calories, I have lost less weight on average than before I joined. Big News

Well we are moving in 2 weeks. There was a house in town that I heard might be available. We were on the list, but I really thought there were lots of people ahead of us, so I didn't think much of it. But we got the call last night: It's ours! We are just renting still, until we can save money and figure out where we want to build a home. This home is going to be a lot nicer than where we are. Mediums

I had my weigh in yesterday. 178.0. That was good enough for a 1.8lb loss. That is now my new lowest weight.



We went shopping yesterday. I needed some new tops and pants to wear around the house for winter. At first I was going to grab the size large pants. weigh in

I'm up to 5 losing weeks in a row. It's been far, far too long for that to be the case - more often it's been going in the wrong direction. I was down 1.8 lbs this week and I'm pretty happy about that. I've got a few things going on this week that I'm worried about - the first happened the night before weigh-in, we had a cookout/meeting at our house. Yep still alive

Where has the time gone? Tomorrow Noah will be 9 months which gives me pause for reflection. Since he has been born…

• I have regained all the weight loss from childbirth – 30lbs

• My cousin went to Afghanistan for a 6 month tour

• My sugar cravings came back hard

• My soda craving (which is merely sugar) return

• My cousin came back from his tour last week – yippee

• I sliced my ankle open

Accomplishments for last week!

Accomplishments

1. Exercised 60% of cardio goal.

2. Exercised 20% of strength training goal.

3. Stopped eating before 7pm on 6/7 days.

4. Getting fruits, veggies, and calcium everyday.



Unfortunately, with the previous week's overeating (ranges from 2800-4000 calories), I gained about 6 lbs last month. I knew there were only so many days I could eat like that and not see damage....... On a more positive note.... now that I am 15 weeks pregnant, my hunger has… Continue
