What a difference a week makes!!

What a difference a week makes.  I cant believe the difference when I did BR1 today.  I was able to do full squats, weights w everything and no modifications except push ups of course, but that will come with time.  I made myself go to bed and quit reading and was up by 330 and working out by 430 which was perfect.  Now I am determined to stick to the BR schedule.  Im really thinking about subin a bike ride for cardio, I really don't like…

Unplanned exercise break

Based on what I could learn from Dr. Google, the back pain I was having was from a strained, hopefully not torn, psoas muscle, a muscle that connects the spine to the groin and makes the hips move. I've been walking a bit, up to an hour at a time, but I've been afraid to run. The pain is almost completely gone now. The psoas only complains when I sit too long, which is helped by using a pillow between my back and the chair/sofa. I think I will be ready to run again by Monday. I just don't…

Still Plugging Along

Life has been crazy this summer with work, family and situational events that have kept me from spending much time at my computer (for leisure, that is). Despite the abundance of food and social eating opportunities, I've managed to maintain. Although this is a victory, it's frustrating, too. I'm only 10 pounds from my goal weight, but it feels more like a 100.

I have finally given in. Anyone who is as active as me needs both a massage therapist and a chiropractor to stay healthy. I don't want to move from injury to injury I want to be healthy and happy.

Back

Oh, how good it feels to be back in the comfort of my own home with the peace and quiet. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my family and going to see them, but it is a circus around there. My oldest sister has 3 kids, my middle sister has 1 kid, and my parents have a family of 4 living with them at the moment. That's a lot of people coming and going. I Joined The Gym And I Liked It!!!!

If any of you have kiddos in your life, you will recognize that the title of today's post is in the tune of one of Katy Perry's hit songs.  Now I'm not saying I don't think she is a great artist but I am saying that I could go without my 12 year old daughter wanted to dress up in a cupcake bra for Halloween.  If you don't know what I'm talking about it is worth the google!

Updated my goals today and didn't eat during the night when I got up! That by itself was an accomplishment!

 

Food for today:

2 sl 12 grain bread w/pb, black coffee

cherries

tuna w/mayo and mustard, sl tomato, broccoli, beets

stuffed grape leaves

animal crackers

whole wheat pasta w/veggies and sauce

10 Hershey kisses

Crunch Time

I haven't been around much cause I'm trying to keep my head above water.

Back on It

Hey guys,

I'm back to blogging and tracking!

The last two weeks of my research were crazy but I pulled through! I have been keeping up with exercising and eating right, though! I'm down 13 lbs! I hope to be down 20 lbs by the start of the school year, September 3rd. 7 lbs in a month and some days is a pretty realistic goal.

Planning, Tracking, Counting

While I hate the time suck that is counting and tracking my calories, exercise, and meal plans, it is really the only thing I have found to consistently work for me.  So I'd better get it down to a habit before school starts up again!

I'm all prepped for the week!!! LiveFit!

Tuesday 7/30

Ughhh!
