Next Exercise needs to be kegels

I did my 3 mile run tonight and totally peed my pants. How disgusting? I just can not hold any amount of fluid in my bladder. They say kegel exercises help, but who has time or thinks about doing them. It just sucks. Good thing it was getting dark and I don't think anyone could tell that I was totally wet down there and I was wearing dark loose shorts. If anyone has any advice, I will gladly take it. 16 weeks today!

I am 16 weeks pregnant today and I got a comment that most pregnant women probably don't hear. A friend looked at me and said, "You have lost weight!" Well, I have, but I also have a big belly already. It's my 2nd child and I started showing a lot sooner with this one. So German Scales are not as good as German beer!!

That's right folks...the scale was waaaaayyyyy off.....thank you God!! Anyway not only have I maintained my weight loss...I lost .4 pounds with all the eating and drinking...and running =)

Bewitching Hour....(or should I say Hours!)

My worst time of day....after dinner, while watching TV, before I go to bed! So far so good with my eating today. I just had dinner....and what a de-lish one it was! Tilapia with dill, pepper and mustard cooked in the microwave in one of those steamer ziplock backs. Then some roasted cauliflower. Yum! For dessert a sugar free fudgsicle.

I am on track and will not much for no reason. I will have some popcorn or a sugar free popsicle. :)

I often wonder how I got to this point and I know that sounds "typical". Extra weight has always been an issue in my life. Stress if NOT good for a person

So this week has been pure hell. And I mean in SO many facets of my life. I'm trying hard not to make this a long whiney post...but forgive me if it gets so!

A pile of football players.

I went for a run this morning and felt like I was dragging a team of NFL players behind me. Better yet, it felt more like I was piggy backing all of them, all at the same time. My legs were like lead! I was sooo slowww. I could have walked faster, I'm sure of it. I'm blaming it on my lower body workout at the gym yesterday and having some pretty serious stomach pains before the run. They eased up while I was running but I still felt low on energy. Getting Back in the Groove

Eating great today!

So, today my eating has been great. Coffee and a banana for an early morning snack. Then quinoa salad (I'll have to post the's YUMMY!) with a low fat chicken sausage. Then later I had a cup of berries with greek yogurt. I'm off to work...will post dinner later...

New MySpace addict

The husband signed up, and now I am addicted too! It is so much fun. I put in my old schools and now when I type in people's names to search for, people I actually know pop up! I even 'friended" a girl I went to college with whom I have not spoken to in 7 YEARS. Funny how time passes so quickly!

Weekly Weigh-In Blog Post

It seems that the only time I ever post on my blog is each week when I weigh in......sheesh. I don't know why I do that....just busy I guess.

So far so good

Sleep has definitely made a huge impact on how I feel today. My day is only about half over right now but I've already made it to the gym, have gotten food squared away for a healthy dinner after work, and have finished all of the homeschool prep stuff that I had wanted to do. YAY me!

Not the best night ...

The boyfriend's mom made chicken and noodles and mashed potatoes for dinner last night ... classic Midwestern comfort food. I didn't go hog-wild — just a couple spoonfuls of each, along with 2 1/2 skinless chicken legs — but it was probably still more than I needed. And I had a container of light yogurt and a mini-bag of microwave popcorn as a late snack. (I haven't looked up Points values yet. I know I should, though.)

So far so good

So far today is going really well.

I've used 9 points so far today, and am planning a healthy dinner of fish and spinich salad. I don't know the points on it yet, but will checking it out when I get home...but I am fairly confident that I can have supper for aroun 8 - 10 points which leaves me some room for some grapes, after my workout. I've also drank 1.5 litres of water so far, and will drink another .5 before I leave work today.
