Trigger food. Trigger points?

So, the race was awesome.  It RAINED on us.  I wore white, of course.  It wouldn't rain otherwise.  Recap later.  My knee started hurting after we cooled down and started walking to the car.  I could hear the evil music playing in the background, I just have to suck it up and just NOT RUN.  I'm taking (apparently and unwillingly) a month off, like I had mentioned and ignored.  Sucks butt.

Gain, Shmain...

Ok so first of all I have dubbed Saturday mornings my weigh in day, as that is when I used to go to weight watchers. So I figure I'll keep with that tradition, and it also allows me to be a little lenient with eating on Saturday. My husband is awesome and helped me create an excel spreadsheet with the formulas to track losses and gains. He's the greatest. Lovely SAturday!

Austerity Measures

I decided to go through my expenses over the past three months and find out where the heck all my money is going.

Not counting rent and utilities, by far my biggest expense was my horse. Guess I coulda seen that coming. Owning a horse is a luxury, and I fully acknowledge that, but he's really a pet these days. I'd no sooner sell him than I would my dog. He's earned a secure home for his golden years, so I'll keep feeding him all my money as long as he sticks around.

A wash

That's what this week has ended up as - a wash. It has been tough and I guess I could have done worse. I'm SO ready to go home and get back in my own normal routine of food and exercise. I should be able to get these few lbs off in just a few days and start feeling fit again. I desperately miss exercise. That's funny. I miss the exercise more than I miss my healthy food! lmao......

Oh Hey Double Chin...

I DO Have a Breaking Point

I don't even know where to begin.  There's so very much that has happened since I woke up at 5am.  I was supposed to sign the papers for my house at 9am.  I loaded up the car with whatever I could carry one-handed and met with everyone for the final walk-through.  Then I found out that due to some hold-ups with the paperwork, the signing couldn't happen at 9am; it would have to wait until after 12.  ERG.

Doing something new this weekend....AGAIN!

Fast food (and other) fumbles

Ugh. This am my bf brought home two breakfast burritos that were buy 1, get 1 free at Carl's Jr. I didn't even want that for breakfast, I've been successful at avoiding fast food joints. But then I found myself in a time crunch. So I took out some salad greens, opened up the burritos and dumped the contents onto the greens, and tossed the tortilla in the trash. Friday weigh in: 152.4lbs, meals planned

Today will be successful. I am counting down the weeks until I go to Seattle and I have 7 weeks and 3 days! I am so excited!!! I will reach my goal by the time August 20th rolls around. Gotta get out the door--but had to put in some fun stuff; ZOMBIES, green sap and Thai food!

Everything seems to take FOREVER these days and I don't really seem to get much done.  So, I at least wanted to get this blog post in, because if I wait until after the run, it probably won't happen.

152.2lbs, 2104 cals in, no workout

It feels pretty lame to post those stats and have NO workout. I did paint today, the entryway and hallway in my house are now a beautiful shade of soft green. I felt like I was burning calories but it was still not a real workout. Tomorrow I will get a run squished into the day. Burned out

I forgot to weigh in on Wednesday, but I weighed in this morning at my old friend 171.8. So, I'm back to the exact point where I got stuck before, but it's slightly down from last week, so I'm going with it.

Day 5 Slim in 6

Day 5. Only 1 more day for my first week of Slim in 6. I really like it.  Today I over ate. Not a binge, but I did give into the cravings. I did make sure I got back on track ASAP.
