If my goal was to gain weight, then my eating would be just perfect. Unfortunately, I'm obese.
I have been eating almost nonstop for 2 days. pizza, ice cream, french fries, chicken strips, chips, cheese, soda, candy, pie. Salt and sugar in ridiculous amounts to the point that I got sick. I was sick to my stomach and had a major headache. And then I kept eating.

Well last Saturday I weighed in at 242.2 lbs. I had such a busy week. I did training for a new job that will be full time and pay twice what Im making now. I've been thinking of BTL so much this week! Mostly b/c I've been cooking and using all my old recipes. My hubby and I have completed the fast food circle (ate at all the greasy restaurants you can think off) and were actually missing my cooking. I know, *GASP*.

Today was a good day. I was still challenged with my snacking but I ate healthy the rest of the day. I had some white chicken chili in the freezer that I took out and had a lunch. It was such a gorgeous day that I took a short walk during lunch and ran a few errands.

This seems like the same story week after week, doesn't it? It's getting kind of old, isn't it? I want to be here, but I don't feel like I have anything positive to write or to contribute. We're coming into a long, holiday weekend and I'm not even that excited for it. Today turned out to be a great day after all. I did have some fat free pretzels after lunch and though oh no, but it did not lead to a crash & burn. I was hungry after eating what was in the lunch bag and thought at least I have a low fat/low calorie item to snack on. I don't normally do that. I guess this health thing is finally becoming habit. I am practically jumping up and down today because tomorrow I will finally be getting a treadmill! I've been trying to get one for quite some time now and have found a very nice one at a good price. A friend bought a house from an elderly couple and they had purchased the treadmill right before they sold the house and never stepped on it once, so it is practically brand new. Yay! the more you eat the more you...yeah.
We have so many dried beans! Gallons of them we bought in bulk! So, they are in many of our recipes--usually the same kind of bean for many days. It's easier to make a batch and then use it for several recipes.

Well I am sooooo happy to report that I lost 2.4lbs this week! I wasn't expecting much since I had to deal with TOM this week. My first goal is getting closer and getting here much faster than I expected. I am eating all my points everyday but I am not eating them in junk and empty calories. I try and make sure that I eat lots of fruit, veggies, dairy, and lean meats. Last time I did WW (2004) I didn't lose weight this quickly BUT I ate alot of processed foods and hardly any veggies. Just a quick little note, today was awesome. Kept to my food plan and decided on a spurr of the moment to dye my hair two different tones, red on top and brownish black underneath, once i style it and decide if i like it or not, I will post a pic. ^.^

So yesterday started off really good, I woke up super early and walked two miles then had oatmeal with fruit for breakfast, packed lunch and dinner for work. At work I had a big cancellation which I was happy about bc I was able to run errands then and not at 7:30 at night! Breakfast: 2 slices of lite whole wheat toast, natural peanut butter and a half a banana.
