Another new gadget

It's no secret that I am kinda addicted to fitness gadgets. I mentioned recently that I got a fitbit one from my work and I have talked about my love of my heart rate monitor in the past. I rely a lot on my heart rate monitor to push me during workouts and to track my calorie burn to know how much extra I should consume in a day. 18.2 lbs. in 39 Days!

Woohoo the scale is moving again!!

After I got home from my vacation, I started seeing the numbers drop, which is so cool!!  I did stay on my diet the whole time we were gone and I did get a lot of exercise playing in that pool!!  It's awesome that we had such a good time and I still managed to have a really positive outcome weight-wise!

Weekly Update 5/25/15

So I would definitely say that this week was a success.

Food- I made mostly good choices with the help of myfitnesspal I started calorie counting again it had been about 10 months since I had used the app and after seeing it pop up in various posts I thought I should start using it again. It's only been a few days but it seems to be going well.

On Vacation

I haven't been writing blog posts or commenting because I've been on vacation, woohoo!!  Our kids were coming in from out of town so my husband and I rented a 5 br / 4 bath house near Disney World.  It has a pool and jacuzzi so we have been spending a lot of time, enjoying the screened-in area out back!

Weekly Update 5/24

Weight - Up 0.6 pounds. Down 9.6 pounds since Day 1



Body Image - Getting a bit negative since the weight loss has been zilch for the past month. I really did want to be farther along in my weight loss.



Exercise - I completed my 1st 5k. I ran the entire way, which was my goal. I plan to keep training for my next 5k and bike ride.

I did it!

Today was my first 5k. It was a small race, which I think helped me not be so nervous. It was also called a fun run. It was a 5k walk or run & a half marathon. I am so incredibly happy with myself. I ran the entire race. My time was 33:12. I now understand how every runner here gets addicted. I already want to do another one! It really helped give me the boost to try harder with my diet. I want to lose weight.

Movement

Exercise has always been the easier part of the healthy lifestyle for me to get motivated by. Although I still have alot of slippage from my goals, I enjoy exercise and reset much more quickly than when I slip from my food goals.

Since I have been so disappointed in the scale readings lately I decided to take some measurements to see if there has been any change. The last time I did that was 3 months ago. Has it really been two weeks?!

Well since my goal is to post once per week, I guess I only missed one. But two weeks feels like a long time!

Healthy lunch

 Today was GREAT! I woke up at 530 AM because I was THAT excited about seeing my cousin I havent talked to in 6 months. I had a good breakfast Toast with PB and a cutie. Brutally Honest

I took a brutally honest look back at my food tracker over the past couple of weeks. Admittedly, my view of "good" choices is a little bit skewed because I have been pregnant and/or maintaining my weight for almost 2 years now. Killin my workouts...

   So just loggin my workouts.. Im KILLIN it. Last night I did  a 60 minute turbofire and had a mixed arm/shoulder lift.  Today I did a 20 minute HIIT and a 40 minute turbofire!!!
