Today

No progress food or exercise wise today. I really just had a free for all. Not really a good thing but I didn't have plans to do anything either so I'm not disappointed. I did go clothes shopping today and found some shirts that made me feel pretty good so I'll take that. Trying again...

Lets give this a go again. I don't know what it is about this blog but it never feels quite right. So I start then I stop and forget about it for a while and then I try again to give it a go because I need something, help, support? I dunno what. So here I am again. Spring is in the air

Good morning!  I'm happy to report that I've lost 15.3 pounds since July with a few months in the fall of maintenance before I got back into weight loss mode!  I'm really itching to get into the 130's.  I have to start walking.  I've been thinking about it and just not doing it.  My wardrobe has expanded because clothes that were put aside that didn't fit me this time last year, fits me now :)  Some are actually a little loose!  YOOHOO!

Weekly Update 4/29

Weight - Up 0.4 pounds. Office food. Too much snacking.

Exercise - Ran 21 miles. 2 upper body workouts.

Food - Needs work. Ugh!

Mood - Down on myself. I would just like to be comfortable in my own skin. I am tired of the shame I feel when I see myself in a mirror.

Weekly Update - 4/22

Weekly update - Zero loss. At least I stopped gaining!

Exercise - Running 5 days & Upper body workout 2 days.

Food - I really need to focus here. Maybe I munch due to hunger & not just thoughtless munching.

Mood - Working on trying to see the positive side of things. We can't change things, we can change how we react.

6 weeks in

Well it's 6 weeks in and this is where I usually fall off the wagon train.  But this time, I'm strapped in and hanging on.

The last two weeks have been slow going.  down .4 and then .8.  I'd love to see some whole numbers.  But I know its all me and the choices I was making.  Trying to get on board completely this week.  Overall, I'm down a solid 8#s since getting on program.  Wish it was more, but at least I am loosing so I will keep my chin up.

I lost a pound this week!

It's encouraging to see a whole pound lost, after loosing small amounts for so long.  I'm still doing what I have been doing all along.  I'm tracking my calories and macros in MFP, weighing my food on my kitchen scale, prepping lunches ahead of time for work and planning/prepping dinners ahead of time.  On Fridays we usually work through lunch and then I'm starving by the time I get home.  I have been bringing snacks with me that I can eat at my desk or in the car. Weekly Update 4/15

Weight - Up 1.6 pounds. What was lost is now found. Ugh!

Exercise- Ran 5 days & upper body 2. Considering training for a 1/2.

Food - Good choices, but still too much salt snacks.

Mood - Good until the scale. At least it doesn't effect my mood like it used to. Happy Easter to all.

Travel Week

I've been hustling to get back in a grove.  On the 31st, I had a training out of town, immediately followed by a conference in D.C. where my Director and I left on Saturday and came home Tuesday night.

I tried to set myself up for success by packing proportioned snacks and bringing fruit with me to nibble on.  I drank lots of water too .... and we walked A L O T.

However, for the most part, food options were not in my control so I had to be intentional in my eating.

Weekly Update - 4/8

Weight - Down 1.6 pounds. 2nd week in a row seeing a loss.



Exercise - Still running 5 days a week but did cut the mileage to 17 but still did 2 upper body workouts.



Food - it was my birthday on Tuesday so I did indulge, but back on track. I also cut out the work crap!



Mood - As a very sensitive individual, my feelings can be hurt easily. Work has been a struggle for sure.

Weekly Update - 4/1

Weight - Down 0.2 pounds. I will take it!

Exercise - Ran 5 days. Did 2 upper body resistance workouts. Held a fore arm plank for 1 minute.

Food - I ate too much. I found I do eat at work since food is so readily available.

Mood - So ready for spring baby!!

New month means time for goals.

1. Food plan.
2. Stop small mindless tastes, mini candy etc at work.
3. Keep with my workouts.
