well, huh

I have gotten up 3 AM's in a row and walked. This AM, I was so tired that I slept in. Just not a good day as I had when I walked. Seriously, it can happen that quick? Man. So I just finished walking, I do feel better, but I think I need to start doing it in the AM from now on--1. because then its done and I don't not do it and 2. my day goes better. who would have thought.

Hello free time, how are you?!?!

I've finally reached that light at the end of the tunnel. All of my big projects, papers, tests, etc are over with. I have one remaining exam- an open note law exam that is repetitive of my undergrad environmental law course, so no biggie. Aside from that I'm finished.



Eating has been waaaay off. I'm doing my best and that's all I can expect. Now that I'm not scrambling I can already tell I'm getting back on track. I'm making chicken enchiladas tonight from my cooking light cookbook.… Continue

I Just Ate My Stress

I was walking with my friend to her car when BAM! We nearly got hit by lightning. It hit a light pole directly above me. Soooo scary. The electricity was grounded by the parking lot, but some electricity must have gone through my shoes. My foot closest to the light pole still burns. It feels exactly like I put my foot in a socket. HA--that was nearly a pun!

How much water?

It's been 47 days since I have had any soda I started out drinking 6 bottles of water a day and now I have one of those 32 oz nalgenes. I measured it and 3 nalgenes is 6 bottles of water. But today I am already almost done with my 4th nalgene and will prob finish a 5th before bed. Is that way to much water? I normally only drink 3-4 a day.

Making the negative positive.

I seem to have major issues when it comes to over-consumption. My problem is that if it's there, I'll eat it. Simple enough solution, right? Don't buy the junky snacks and meals.



While it's fairly easy to do that at home, I am about to start a summer job... at my parents' dairy bar. See the problem? All the ice cream I can eat (plus chips and Pepsi, too...) Thankfully, we don't serve deep-fried food or I'd be in over my head (and over the waist of my pants.)

Ahhhhh...

Ok, here is my everyday problem.... Like I already told you guys, I am a live-in nanny of three, so it happens, that I cook the kids lunch and dinner, unfortunately they don't eat anything, must of the things they don't like, so I am going from mac &cheese, to chicken nuggets, to smiley faces, pasta and back to mac & cheese...horrible...so the problem is, sometimes they have laft overs, so instead of just throwing in the trash, I take a fork full here and there...And while I am eating… Continue

Friday workout

Got to work and hit the fitness center first thing. Better than coffe to start the day in my opinion.

Did the machines for a bit 3 sets two exercises for chest. Forgot to do crunches and pushups again *sigh*

Ran on the treadmill calves still hur but went a bit further this time. The wireless headphones helped a ton just put my phone on the treadmill and pump my arms like I should.

Feel pretty good now not like last week where I could barely walk

Forward Thinking

3 year Weight Watchers Anniversary!

Wow looking at the calendar it just occurred to me that April 28th is my 3 year anniversary of joining Weight Watchers. Hard to believe it was 3 years ago I walked into that door at the highest weight of my life hoping for a miracle. Well inch by inch and bit by bit I worked hard and at my lowest had lost 85 pounds. Another week down...A lifetime to go

Another 3.2 this week. That makes a total of 6lbs lost in the last two weeks, and 8.2 since my famous doctor's visit. I know that this is a fairly quick rate that will likely slow very soon. Nonetheless, I intend to keep up the same program.

The workouts are becoming less emotional, which is good and bad. I liked how my anger began motivating me to work out. Now that I am less frustrated, I worry that I will not keep my motivation. I need to find other reasons to keep on…

New Here

Just joined today and think this site is pretty nice and I think it will help me in my fitness goals.

I feel a daily journal with other people pursuing the same thing will give me the motivation to drop the 30 pounds I want to drop.

I decided to sign up for a 5K run this summer as a way to "commit" to my fitness goal and already announced my intent to my wife and coworkers. This way I am going to have to do it :)

Emotional Eating

Boy has it been a rough day! I can't even begin to fully explain how stressful work has been recently, but I will try. One huge thing we have going on right now is trying to get a bond/levy passed next week. No matter what, there will be $3 million in cuts next year--some teachers have alread gotten their RIF notice. Learning Day by Day

So for the last month I have been busy in Florida planning my wedding to enjoying the spring weather to baseball season!
