New Month's Eve

There isn't much to report on this front lately, I've been sick and therefore more concerned with fueling properly rather than working off said fuel. I'm shooting for tomorrow to do some morning yoga before I start my school work for the day.

Day One........

Well, I survived my first sugar and bread free day!  So far so good.  I was hungry at times but my counselor told me to eat an extra protein pack if needed during week one so I had a bar this afternoon.  I have felt fine all day but now I have a mild headache coming on.  None of the side effects they warned me about so far.  I have spent the day daydreaming about how I could look by summer.  That's all the motivation I've needed… Continue

Day 15

Hello to all and I hope the start of your week has been a positive one. I ran 5k this morning and then cleaned like a maniac for 2 hours. I had a productive day except I forgot to weigh myself this morning and I don't want to weigh this late after drinking so much water... So I will do that mañana and report my results. I am excited to watch some tv and then off to the land of nod... Sweet dreams :)

Got to my goal weight!

So I reached my goal weight! 125lb I really stuck to a nutrition plan. I had my 2 Visalus Shakes a day and a nutra-cookie for a snack. I have not had any reward ice cream in 2 weeks! I am not hungry and not bored with the shakes at all. Now that I met my goal I am drinking one shake a day and eating a protein bar in the morning.

The one thing I can't seem to stick to is exercise. So this week I want to try one new class. I'm thinking Zumba, I've heard good things.

Update on progress

Hello Everyone! I discovered facebook in December and so I haven't blogged as much on this site. I try to limit my computer time so something had to give. The good news is that I lost about 6 pounds since my last blog. I decided to create a weight training and cardio schedule for the week. It has really worked. I fell off the wagon

So this weekend I kind of fell off the wagon as far as continuing to work out and eating healthy. I am kind of frustrated.

Week 1- The Weekend

Weekends are very hard for me for a few reasons:

1. A feel like they are a little holiday from my usual routine and so I tend to over eat, eat things I shouldn't  and I don't exercise

2. I'm usually  around family that temp me to eat a little of this and that.

3. I'm often not close to a computer to get support


Overall, I did okay this weekend. I did not go the WW meeting. But I stayed on my plan. Next weekend I'd like to do better.

Overwhelming Stress

Where to begin?

Day one...and it's not even over

Even though today's the first day and it isn't even over yet- I still want to report that I'm doing very well regarding avoiding junk food- particularly sweets. For those of us in the Midwest/ Ohio Valley region, today is a prep day for the impending DOOM that has been forecast. ( And I will be MOST unhappy if it's wrong!!) Day 18

At least by writing on this blog I can see when I am going up and down in weight, sad that it is showing within 18 days.  So I got on the scale today and it read 198.  This is up.  I am not really surprised as I did eat just about everything in site this weekend.  Not that it was all terrible stuff, but portion control was just not there.  I feel bad that I went back up, but I know that I am the only one that can change it.  I also think that this site will help as I can see that in an 18…

weigh in 149.6!

This is the lowest I've been in my adult life. The only time I was this close was around 14 when I had just come back from a cruise and barely eaten. And people thought I looked good. So rock on!

Getting ready for my trip to FL (119)

I'll be traveling to FL with my sister to see our Dad in about 3 weeks so I decided I should try on some spring clothes and see what my options are to take on the trip. Yeah, umm, not so much. Who is posting a loss this week?

ME that's who!  Lost 2.2 this week!  Yes, finally, a nod from the scale that I'm doing okay.  I'm feeling pretty good about that loss.  I've been feeling pretty good since last week in general.  I really just ignored the scale and just kept with my goals, and it paid off.  AND I'm out of the 150's.  HELLO 140's!  And for the record, I'm still going to ignore the scale this week.  :-D
