Not such a great Memorial Day weekend ...

oh so not a good weekend so far.  I’m afraid to even go near the scale for fear it will see me coming and slide as fast as it can out of the bathroom and under my bed – just to prevent me from stepping on it.  Oh yeah- that is the type of Memorial Day weekend I’ve had so far – and it has nothing to do with picnics or BBQ’s.  so sad…My oldest son had basketball tournaments on the shore line (about 1 hour from where I leave).  So it meant getting up early (have I mentioned I am not a morning…See More

Week 2 - weigh in .. good & bad news

Well today was weigh in day.  I had heard it’s best to pick just one day and that is the day you say a prayer, close your eyes, hold your breath, and step onto the scale.  If you weigh yourself every day your will see your weight going up and down and end up feeling like you are on a dieting roller coaster.So .. Half way to Friday and Weigh-in time

OMG..  tomorrow will be the half way mark to my first week and my weigh in.  I am, to say the least, a bit nervous.  I have not had a really good week.  For instance a cheeseburger at MickyD’s found it’s way on the menu for lunch on Monday.  Tonight a small but yummy peanut butter shake snuck into the car right when I was craving something sweet to drink.  There has also been the pasta for dinner both nights (small bowls but still …)  So I’m a bit nervous about what the scale is going to say on…See More

Well it’s almost to the end of week three.  Am I nervous again? Of course!!  Why?
