I stepped on the scale this morning to see a decrease. I'm down to 207.4. That's 1.6 lbs lost. I'm feeling both proud and tentative about it.
On the one hand, I'm down 1.6 lbs!! I haven't seen the scale move in that direction in months. On the other hand, I've got so far to go that 1.6 lbs seems insignificant.

This is getting old for everyone involved, especially me. It's been almost a year and a half since I blogged here. And it shows.
A year ago, I was just picking up running and was working hard to get in shape. Around November, I was the slimmest I've been since having my son - around 186 lbs. Today, I'm back up to 209.

Since last week, I've been dealing with a nasty virus that basically felt like a sinus infection, double ear infection and strep throat all in one. I took some time to relax and am starting to feel better. I did keep an eye on what I ate all weekend (although, I tend to drink much more on weekends). Today, I'm ready to get back into the swing of my workouts.
