Sometimes I think loosing 15 pounds may be harder than loosing 50. It is hard to be so close to where you want to be. I want to loose 15 - that will take me to 120. I get no support b/c people say that they would kill to be 135lbs or a size 6 but I'm just not used to it. Somehow I get to 129 or 130 and then a long weekend happens and I bounce right back. I don't have the answer but hope to soon. Keep working it!

Remember the mantra, Ash: "Nothing tastes as good as thin feels".

And it's not like you can't have those things...you just have to make a trade-off with something else - and also watch your portion sizes. You'll do fine...just re-train yourself to curb those urges, cravings, and old, die-hard habits! : )

About Me:
i am a 19yr old college student, and grocery store worker.
at the end of last year i started weight watchers and lost 15 pounds within about 3 months, i felt so much better, physically and mentally. and i found that after 3 weeks or so, points became a part of life, and was so simple to do. but then christmas came, and i caved into the sweet sugary-goodness of cookies, fudge, etc. and all the other food that comes with the holidays. i ended up forgetting all about doing weight watchers and began to eat whatever, whenever. of course i ended up getting those 15lbs back.
so as of aug 1, 2008 i am starting back up with weight watchers lets see how it goes... :)

good-bye week 1

week 1 is over and i surprisingly lost 5.5 lbs. i admit to doing a bit of cheating while counting points, and yesterday i ate more than i should have! so this week im going to make sure i dont cheat, and that stay on track with my 24pts a day. i know i will most likely not loose as much weight this week, but every little bit counts till i get to my goal, and a healthier, better feeling me!

working at a grocery store sucks

it totally sucks working in a grocery store! there is food everywhere [no, duh], but the store doesnt care if you are dieting or not, it tries to appeal to everyone. so no matter what there will be unhealthy choices everywhere. like today, being a bagger, i have to look at pretty much every single item. just looking at the ice cream and cookies, chips and crackers, one non-diet article after another. not to mention theres a deli who sells this delicious smelling greasy, but o-so-tasty fried… Continue
