2.5 years ago, I was in the best shape of my life. I weighed the least I had ever weighed in my adult life, I was running consistently, I was writing a success blog, I was married to my best friend, I was confident in myself for the first time ever and I felt absolutely AMAZING!

Then my Mom died. And I spiraled.

So, you have been trying to focus more on intuitive eating lately. That's good.

You stopped tracking, stopped obsessing. You needed to.

You are focusing more on your work outs and more on how your clothes fit. That's GREAT. The number on a scale is just a number, especially when you are lifting weights 3x weekly.

Last week I lost a whopping 4.6lbs! Holy Cow right? I did great with my workouts and water drinking...I had a great week.



Then, what do I do?

Totally blow it Saturday-Monday. My sister and her boyfriend were in town, we drank a ton, ate a ton...bad. TOM is also visiting, so that's awesome. I'm not as upset about the weight gain as I am about the fact that the late nights, drinking and poor habits that I practiced for 3 days straight have apparently…

LOL - And yardsale season is just beggining! I'm going to have to plan routes to avoid yardsales or this running business could turn expensive...But it did motivate me to run home faster so I could go back and pay for my purchases. Haha!

Congrats on ordering Nike+!!! I am so excited for you! Without Nike+, I would not be running the distances I am now. It has really encouraged me to push myself further by allowing me to get the immediate feedback on distances/pace during my run. I hope you love it as much as I do!

The pad thai was delicious! I needed a butt kicking from everyone to tell me to eat it. Your point was well taken - restrict my cravings and risk eating everything else in sight. So I enjoyed the pad thai and moved on with life!

It is so true! And something I definitely need to be reminded of. It wasn't the one slice of cake that made me gain all that weight. Just like never eating another piece of cake again won't help me lose the weight. If that makes sense...I think it does... ;)
