About Me:
My husband and I have been together for a total of 11 years and married 9. When I met my husband, I had been out of college for almost a year, and the pounds were adding up. I went from a size 8 to a size 14 and there I stayed until we had our children. We have two beautiful children; Paige is 4 and Cameron is 16 1/2 months old. After Cameron was born I returned to work, but only part time. I have a Master's Degree in Community Counseling and I recently completed a certificate program in School Counseling (I'm not certified yet, still have to take the state tests which I am procrastinating). I work for a local foster care / adoption agency, however, what I do has nothing to do with that. I am a therapist and I work with juvenile sex offenders and victims of sexual abuse.

With both of my pregnancies I gained 70 lbs and was 240lbs. I nursed my daugher for 9 months and she drank the fat away. I lost another 20 lbs after I stopped nursing and I did that by counting calories. That was my first diet.

I started WW June 07 after the birth of my second child. I had already lost about 30 lbs just with giving birth and nursing. After two months of nursing I didn't know how I would lose the weight. As soon as I asked the questions, the answer "Weight Watchers" came out of my mouth. I have lost a total of 103 lbs since my son's birth (30 on my own and 73 on ww). I still have two pounds to go to reach my overall goal. Roni has been a great inspiration to me and I love her recipes. Thanks for all your support!!!

Well nothing really exciting has happened this week. I have to admit, I'm not going crazy with the weight loss. I was weighing myself several times a day and that has stopped. I can't say what happned to get out of that mindset but I just did it. I really have an addictive personality. OMG I cant' believe it's been over a week and a half since I've been on. I'm alive and kicking, just busy and overwhelmed. And as I look back, I have nothing EXCITING to report.

Ok, I've been MIA, but I have good reasons!! Last Wednesday I went to a confrence at PSU with two co-workers. Overall the confrence itself was ok, nothing new but interesting. Had way too much to drink during a free reception. What can I say, free food and booze is my kind of living!! However, I paid for it over and over. It was nice to have "adult" time. I love my kids, but being away from home was nice!!!

Lazy Saturday!!

Well my WI on Thursday was pretty good. Once I hit my ultimate goal, the following week I put on 2 pounds, which was frustrating. With my grandmother's death and my crazy work schedule I hadn't been back. Well when I went on Thursday, I lost 1.2 pounds and was very happy. Like I said in my previous post, with the funeral and all, I was aware of my food intake but not crazy about it either. So I did good!

Ok, what's the deal? Why can't I do food and exercise well on the same day? Friday and Saturday I had great (ok, Friday wasn't great but not too bad)food days but no exercise. Sunday I walked 3 miles but it was a terrible food day!!! URGH!!
Here it goes:
B- 1/2 c Fiber One cereal & four pieces of WW toast
L- Chicken Salad with lite It. dressing / ice cream
D- 3 pizzas
B- 1/2 c cereal & 4 pieces WW toast
L - WW meal / 100 calorie chips / cereal bar
D - WW meal / green bean / 1 piece of bread
Snack - ice cream

B - Fratta with 2 eggs / tomatoes / mushrooms / onions
2 pieces of ww toast / 1 c strawberries
L - This is where it gets bad b/c we took my mil out for mother's day.
1 c lobster bisque soup / lobster ravoli / salad with lite dressing / veggies

watermelon / grapes (didn't measure - was grazing when I was at my sister's)
1 serving green bean caserole

D - pizza
snack - 2 cups ice cream

Ok here's what I've done so far today.
B - 1/2 c Fiber One cereal / 2 pieces of ww toast / 1 c strawberrries
snack - cereal bar
L- ww meal / green beans / ww yogurt / apple with ff caramel / banana
snack - 10 baby carrots with mild salsa.

I haven't exercised today but hopefully later on tonight I will. I've been better with drinking my water and writing everything down. Hopefully this along with this site will help. I won't be able to get to a meeting until next week due to my last day of school is this Thursday and I work Friday. But I will get there.

I was all game to go on Thursday but I had a little GI Upset. So I went on Saturday to just weight in -granted it was a morning so I was down 2.6lbs - so Thursday should be interesting.

As for you darling - I know it is frustrating to get so far and go up. But just look what you have accomplished - you look great! It's going to happen girl don't worry! =)

Thanks for the compliment on the picture - isn't Wynter so pretty? People at work thought she was my daughter. So keep your chin up this week and I'll see you on Thursday.
