Today is day 7 on my keto diet. So far so good...however I have to add some stuff to my day 4 recap.

As I mentioned in my first post, I've decided to keto to lose weight. Keto = ketogenic diet. Let me explain.
Normally, the body prefers to use glucose (sugar) as it's primary source of fuel - when it's available. Carbs and even some proteins are converted to sugars that your body uses as fuel. Welp...I'm 30. I'm fat. I have a whiny dog (who is awesome). I'm in love. I have acquired cats that don't think my dog is as awesome as I do. I have a crazy family. But a great boyfriend who is aware and accepts that. But right now I'm just tired of being overweight.
