So I went to Florida right after my last blog post, and since then I have wreaked havoc on myself. I completely stopped working out, and was eating like crap. I haven't been to the gym, with the exception of one workout with a trainer that I slacked off completely. I feel like I completely lost every ounce of motivation I had before I went on vacation. So today started quite early for me, I woke up at 6:30 but really closer to 6:40 thanks to the snooze button. I headed to the gym for my first workout with a trainer, his name is Nick. I have never been particularly athletic, and frankly the gym is always a little intimidating to me since I don't know what I'm doing with anything but the elliptical or treadmill. Today started off on a high note! I got a 6:30 AM text that told me I didn't have to get get to work until 9:00 instead of 7:45. This was great, since it was a rainy dreary morning, and sleeping in was perfect for me. Levi also took advantage of a little extra time in bed by giving me some doggie cuddles.
