Change

I started changing things up. I am continuing to run but since I was feeling fried I knew I needed to do something. Sunday was a 6 mile run. Monday Before work I ran 3.4 miles & after work I ran another 3.5 miles & after I did a 30 minute upper body work out. I held a fore arm plank for a full minute. I have not been able to do that for a while. This morning I ran 3.4 again, but tonight I took a break. I figured if I split up my running I will fall back into wanting to run. I am adding…See More

Profile Information

About Me:
I have been struggling for so long. I had great intentions for 2015, but failed terribly. Now that I am in the home stretch, I am expecting to finish 2015 better.

2016 - I am now a runner, completing two 5k fun runs last year. I did manage to lose 11 pounds in 2015 & maintained the loss. When I complete this year I expect to be at goal.

May 2016 I am down another 10 pounds & look forward to reaching goal before year end.

Weekly Update - 3/18

Weight - Up 0.6 pounds. Ugh! I am sick of this crap!!!

Food - Food Day yesterday in the office. Yep, over ate. Gaincould be sodium overload.

Exercise - Ran 3.4 miles each day for (5) days & added in (3) of upper body resistance work.

Mood - Ready for change. Starting summer, running outdoors, eating better.

Burn Out

I think I am getting burned out. I like what running has done for me. I look so much leaner. But I have been pushing myself & to be honest I am bored. I am not sure if it is due to the treadmill or what but I know I need to add in some resistance training. I was planning on joining a health club through the winter months to break up the running & get some much needed upper body work. Well, I never did that for many reasons. Exercise - Ran 26 miles on the treadmill



Food - Eating too much. Too much snacking.



Mood - Mad at myself for not overcoming this damn food addiction.

Weight - Down 0.2 pounds.



Food - Always a struggle. Working in an office that gets candy & snack sample is really bad for me.



Exercise - Ran 25 miles this week. I know I need to do some resistance training. I just hate not running. Ugh!



Mood - Good. Working on being mindful.
