Trying not to worry about others

I am trying to lose weight and get pregnant with our second child. Neither of these things is happening for me. I have several friends who have gotten pregnant or had babies in the past year. I have several friends that have lost weight in the past year. All while I sit here struggling to do either. I had to go to the doc this week for a bad pain in my upper thigh. Starting yet again

I wish that I could say that I had started Weight Watchers back in November with my friend when we said we were. I signed up for online and "started" it with her. The problem is I can't stick to anything so here I am in April and I am still 177. She has done great and as of last week has lost 31 pounds. I feel like such a failure. I don't know what it is that is keeping me from it. I have heart disease in my family, I am 40 pounds overweight, I have the time and the supportive spouse. I feel so…See More

About Me:
I am almost 33 years old. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 10 years. I have one son who is 3. I am trying to workout and change my eating habits to lose 40 pounds. We are trying to get pregnant with our second child. I really want to lose as much as I can before I get pregnant. My goal is to overhaul my eating and start walking everyday. I hope to get to the point that I enjoy exercising and get into running.

I wish that I could say that I had started Weight Watchers back in November with my friend when we said we were. I signed up for online and "started" it with her. Still hanging in there

I have been sticking to the workouts and making my best attempt to get back on weight watchers. I have been in such a funk lately and the exercise has started to help that. I live in MS and it has been so hot that my toddler and I have been in the house pretty much constantly. I get major cabin fever when we do this and it does not help my mood any. How does 2.5 turn into

4 pounds overnight. We went to dinner last night before the zoo. I am sure some of it is water retention. I should not have stepped on the scale this morning after just being on it yesterday. I am not going to get back on the scale until my weigh in next Sat. Have no fear though I am back on track. I am going to kick some serious exercise booty this week.

I knew this was going to happen if I did not get back into a workout routine. So I should not be surprised.

how to get motivated to work out and eat right. Gain 2.5 pounds. I know that sounds stupid. I lost 18 then hit a wall. I have not been working out but have not gained any so I was doing that crazy thing in my head...."it's ok cause at least I am not gaining". Well, stepped on the scale this morning and I have gained 2.5 pounds.

Hadley is 6 months old. I never realized until this last week how often I take small bites of numerous things all day. And it's usually the unhealthy things I eat because they're quickest.
I rarely exercise. After my 6-week post-partum appointment (after I got doctor's okay) I exercised good for about a week. Then I slacked off and only go for an occasional walk with the baby. I'm trying to work an evening walk into our routine but that's proving to be difficult.
