This morning I weighed in at 171.2. I'm not sure how much I weighed the last time, but it's usually 171.8, so this isn't bad news. It's insignificant enough to be neutral, though. But I'll roll with it.

I gave up coffee for a week. It's not that I drink a lot of coffee, but I drink it every day, and I definitely feel dependent on it. Anyway, I successfully did it, and I didn't enjoy it, and I'm looking forward to resuming the habit on Monday. I'm going to try to not drink coffee every day, though. You know. Avoid the dependency.

I've kind of slacked off on running over the last week due in no small part to the heat. I've also been prioritizing riding over running because for some reason I'm nervous about this rinky dink little horse show at my boarding stable that's coming up. I don't get nervous about horse shows, usually, but I've been worried that my aging equine isn't really up for this one. I am feeling better about it after a couple of solid rides, though.
