Another two weeks have passed with me putting in little (NO) effort to addressing this weight. I think about it all the time every day but I just never put anything in place to help my cause. I am feeling overwhelmed. I think I am going to focus on trying to lose 25 pounds by the end of the year. That is realistic. That is achievable. That will make a difference.
That is right my friends. The end of this year is 12 weeks away. My new journal also covers a 12 week period. Coincidence? I think not! New goal number one... Journal something (anything) every day. I am not going to commit to writing down everything I eat or everything I feel because we all know how that goes. I am thankful that I have been able to maintain close to a 20 pound loss. But that just isn't enough. I have about a hundred more to go. I seem to be stuck in the "Tomorrow Is A New Day" cyclone. We all know that the only way to make progress is to make good choices today and to stop waiting for tomorrow to come.
So here's to today.
So I am fluctuating between 270 and 275. Most days I am closer to 275. Although I am not happy about it, I can't say that I am surprised. Other thank kicking my soda habit (which I am SO thankful for) I have not been able to find any motivation to move on to the next bad habit.
